Elias Mom made sandwiches for lunch and I must’ve eaten three or four. I’ve been starving all day. Usually the oatmeal I had this morning would have lasted me til lunch, but I started chowing on chips while Ginny talked to Clementine and now I feel like I’m trying to eat my weight in bread. Ginny just stared at me as I reached for another sandwich. “What?” I asked after ripping into it. “Hungry?” she asked eyeing my plate of chips; I had killed an entire family size bag by myself. “I’m starving,” I said. “Its like my body just can’t get enough. Must’ve really missed mom’s cooking.” “Where’s Elle and Everett?” she asked looking around. “They went to lunch off the territory with Brenton,” I said. “They’ll be back soon I’m sure. I’m going to try and scan through that book he gave me.
