Ginny Elle was the first person I saw when I entered the kitchen and hugged her. Mom was in the dining room with Ms. Oakley who didn’t look as polished as she usually does. Her hair was a little frizzy and her nails looked chipped and one had fallen off; leaving a chewed up fingernail beneath.
