I found Elle and Ginny walking arm and arm around the training grounds. They were laughing and smiling so I assumed it was safe to approach but I was still cautious. Elle smiled when she saw me and turned to Ginny. Her eyes sparkled as she laughed and I thanked the Goddess for the millionth time for making her mine.
“Hey ladies,” I said as I approached. “You ready to read some more?”
“I’m ready,” Elle said and turned to Ginny again.
“I guess,” she agreed with a sigh. “But first let’s try the hand holding thing again! Our hands got hot the last time so I think something was working.”
