CHAPTER 5

Soon exams approached, many students are flipping through their books , hoping to put the book inside their brains and see it up .

Why other are busy racking their brains ,Hazel just rest her head , the other female students envied her .

"I wish I was like her , she's beautiful,and still has brains "

"I wish I could I go sleep too " the other student said making a sad face

The third one just eyed her " What do you expect from s top student who is a genius, whether or not she studies she aces the exams with a perfect score,"

Jayden walked into the class and overheard the girls talking. He tapped on their heads

"Now,now , don't you know it's not a good thing to talk about people behind their backs ?"

" We are not talking about her , we just admire her okay"

The first girl spoke up feeling wronged.

Jayden looked at them with doubt"Really? Bit I perceived malice somewhere "

"Hmph"

The girls left the class .

He offered Hazel a soft drink

"Why don't you talk when those girls starts saying such things about you ?"

Hazel took a sip from the drink

"It's useless talking to rock ,I know very well that rock doesn't talk, either does it listen"

"You're thinking is definitely higher than our ,miss high IQ"

He teases her

Hazel returned the teasing "Mr. Low IQ please lift ,I don't like talking to dumb people"

Jayden held his chest and acted like he was shot in the heart "Awww it hurts"

Hazel just laughed it off like a joke, but Jayden's expression became a little serious "it really hurts" before resuming his playful demeanor.

The students are finally free to go home and oversleep if possible for many people.

To Hazel a holiday was a reminder that she never had a place to call home . And to Amy it was a place filled with torture.

Next semester,the students are expected to graduate,take the SAT exams and get into a good college. At least to many other students but not Hazel.

Students are exchanging goodbyes. Yuki cried her eyes out ,and repeatedly hugged Hazel and Amy.

Jayden rolled his eyes at her stupid actions.

After so much persuasion from Yuki,they all decides to go to the park , Jayden originally reused but Yuki dragged him without giving him the chance to complete his sentence.

At the amusement park,they rode in may wheels,still Yuki wasn't satisfied.

Only Hazel and Amy escaped but she firmly kept Jayden at her side .

Hazel and Amy went to the photo shop to snap some pictures. They turn their headbands.

After the first batch of polaroid pictures came out , Amy decide to get another one .

This time around their positions were very intimate,from kissing to hugging and back again.

Hazel took the second batch,leaving Amy gloomy because she couldn't get the second batch.

They went to the ice cream store

"Which flavor do you want?" Hazel asked Amy who was busy on her phone.

She paused and dropped her phone and then stared at Hazel

"Uhm... I'll go with peach flavor"

"Sure " .

On the other side of the wheel,Jayden felt like this Yuki was intentionally punishing him. He felt really dizzy and nauseated after ten rides.

Yuki came again with a ticket in her hands "Let's go for another round ,wheeeee..."

Without giving him a chance to reject the idea , he dragged him to the wheel .

This time Jayden came out with tears in his eyes,when Yuki noticed she teased him badly that he felt like throwing her away.

They all met again and went to the photo shop again,this time all four of them ,Amy,Hazel ,Yuki and Jayden. Yuki stayed in between Hazel and Jayden.

Inside Amy's bag ,her phone vibrated , someone sent a message "Where are you ?"

Just stepping in ,a flower vase hits her head .

"Where have you been?" An angry voice stunned her

Amy shrinked back in fear "I forgot all about my reality"

"I'm sorry mom,my phone was down,and I wasn't with my charger.

Madame Rai raised her head up " Listen to me ,let this not repeat it self again,okay,my sweet child" As if she was completely different from the person throwing stuffs at her daughter.

"Let's get you treated,okay"

Amy only made little sounds or nodded her head .

When Madam Rai was applying alcohol on the wound she pressed the cotton wool with alcohol on her fore head making,Amy grimace in pain without any sound.

Hazel's house wasn't peaceful at all , as the couples forced Hazel to attend an occasion with them to appear as the perfect family and example to the society.

Through out the entire event ,Hazel did not say anything to her parents,and was on her phone all through, chatting in the group Yuki created for the four of them,which was lively as Yuki was the admin.

Just like that a month passed, and without warning schools resumed leaving some students depressed.

Hazel over slept which led to her coming late to school.

Arriving,she went inside the class and found a familiar face but chose to ignore it .

The person sitting at the front waved at her

"Hey,Hazel ,lonh time"

The first word that entered her head was "Valerie was back !"

How's that even possible?

To avoid putting her in an awkward position,she waved back her

",Hey, I see you are back " with that she dropped her bag and sat down

Valerie faked s smile "I came back for you Hazel"

Hazel looked at her

Valerie shuddered her shoulders "Don't worry I'm only joking"

"Are you the female joker, Haley Quinn?

Yuki walked in with Amy

Before Valerie could react , Amy added

"Oh, that's true,no wonder she looks familiar, shoe's indeed the joker "

Valerie face twisted from anger but quickly calmed herself afraid of losing face went back to her seat.

After getting to her seat , Amy because a jealous girlfriend asked interrogated Hazel with her brow raised up

"Who's she "

Hazel chuckled and then tingled her

"Please don't be jealous, she's someone who's irrelevant to me "

Amy stooped laughing and then wrote down on a book

"I'm yours and you are only mine "

Hazel laughed at the words written down" Sure thing "

Valerie on the other side glared at Amy,and felt resentful towards Hazel.

"Thought she said she likes me. Stupid girl, anyways since I'm back I won't let anyone have you . If I can't have you , then don't blame me for being ruthless "

She thought with a little smirk tugging at her lips .

During the gymnastics class, the students gathered around in the big hall.

The students are stretching their bodies,Amy was helping Yuki to stretch her body.

Hazel went to get the ribbons for practice and on her way back , Valerie intentionally bumped into her . Hazel lost her door on the ground and fell and Valerie intentionally fell on her making their positions a little ambiguous.

Amy looked at Hazel's pained expression and knew that the fall was not a small one ,when Valerie still on Hazel's body tried to check on her .

"Hazel ,are you okay"

Yuki rolled her eyes twice on a row " How can she be okay when you are still lying on top her. Are you tht stupid?"

Valerie stood up and rubbed her hair embarrassed, decided to apologize to Dave some face at least "I'm sorry Hazel I didn't see you coming"

Amy help Hazel up "Are you okay?"

Hazel completely ignored Valerie and only responded to Amy .

Valerie wake out from the room before she receives another insult.

Inside the changing room ,she slammed her hands on the wall .

"If not for that stupid person,I won't be here. But just wait a little bit,I show you what humiliation is "
