Everleigh I must've fallen asleep because the next thing I remembered was waking up in between the arms of Aleks. He was warm and solid, undoubtedly asleep. I stretched out along his body so that the length of my leg brushed his calf. My throat felt dry. I tried to swallow, but my mouth was parched. I shifted my position, trying not to wake Aleks, who was still sound asleep. I looked around the room and saw that it was still dark outside. The only light came from the moon, shining through the window. I needed water badly. I slowly extracted myself from Aleks's embrace and tiptoed out of the bedroom.
