I decided to tell Isaac the truth about Elijah. There was no point in hiding anything, since Michael would mention what had happened today anyway.
"A crush, huh?" he asked, arching his eyebrows. "What's so special about this guy?"
"Well, for one, he doesn't kidnap women and kill people on a daily," I snapped.
Isaac laughed. "Fair enough." He walked over and sat on the bed in front of me. "I am curious to see what this guy looks like. What kind of man is Eve into," he said and smirked coyly.
I rolled my eyes. "Why do you care?"
He took my hands in his and looked into my eyes. "Because you are mine, Eve," he said, staring at me intensely. "So if there is any reason this man tries to steal you from me, I will eliminate him without hesitation."
