"I see you had some fun out there," I said, smirking at Everleigh as she walked in with many shopping bags.
Everleigh nodded. "Yup. You guys were so generous to give your prisoner so much money, so I decided to start blowing it," she said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
I chuckled and raised an eyebrow. "Well, you're not exactly a prisoner anymore," I said, walking towards her. "What did you buy?" I asked, curious.
She dumped the bags on the table, and I could see a variety of items, from designer clothes to expensive jewelry. "Just some essentials," she said, trying to sound nonchalant.
I raised an eyebrow. "Essentials, huh? Well, money is no object as long as you stay loyal, Everleigh."
