Using Millie’s connections, it only takes us a three-hour plane ride to get her back home.  Angie’s coloring looks better, and despite being in a traumatic situation, she’s able to put a smile back on her face.  Me?  My energy has been low and the vampire’s venom is still seeping through my veins.  I’m weak and I know I don’t look well, but I have to fake it for Angie’s sake.  She’s asked me a million questions by now.  I told her about my mate and the territory I live on.  She told me about her schooling on the plants her and her mother keep at the house.  By the time we got back to Millie’s, I felt like I was going to pass out.
