Thank you! ❤❤❤ --------------------------------------------- ❤ Liv's POV ❤ THE next day, Aaron picked me up from the restaurant where I work. As soon as I got in his car, he kissed me on the lips before saying "Hi, Liv." Liv: "H-hi." I was taken aback but smiled nonetheless. Aaron seemed extra perky today. I wonder why. Aaron: "We're not going to a restaurant today." Liv: "Where are we going?" Aaron: "You'll see." I was nervous as we drove towards I don't know where. I usually don't know where Aaron takes me for dinner, but they're always great places. I trust him, so I waited in anticipation as we arrived at our destination. Aaron parked inside a condominium building. It's a high-rise residential building, and it's in an affluent location. I guessed that Aaron had brought me to the condominium where he lives. Aaron held my hand as soon as we got out of the car. We walked towards the elevator, and when we got in, I asked "Uhm, where are we going?" Aaron: "We're headed to my apartment. I thought we'd have a home-cooked meal tonight." Liv: "Who's cooking?" Aaron: "I am." Liv: "You can cook?" Aaron: "You'll find out in a bit." I smiled and Aaron planted a kiss on my forehead before we got out of the elevator. His unit is located on the very top floor of the building. When we got to Aaron's apartment, I couldn't help but gasp. I didn't want to overreact, so I am hiding how impressed I am with how beautiful and elegant his condominium unit is. It's quite big, and I think it's bigger than some of the houses I've seen. My eyes couldn't help but wander around, and look up at the high ceiling. I suddenly felt embarrassed about having Aaron come into our tiny house. Aaron: "I'll just change. You can sit on the couch while you wait for me." Liv: "O-okay." Somehow, I didn't feel comfortable sitting on the couch for fear that I might make it dirty. I saw some pictures on a table against the wall, which made me curious. One of them was a picture of Aaron with an older couple. Aaron is the younger spitting image of the man in the picture, so these could be his parents. They look so handsome and pretty. They must be affluent and rich too. The other picture is of a young couple with two kids. They look so happy. I wonder who these are. I gasped when I heard Aaron say "That's my sister with her family." I was so thankful that I wasn't holding the frame. Otherwise, I would have dropped it. Aaron walked next to me and picked up the frame before saying "This is Andrea. She's five years older than me. This is her husband, Claude, and their two kids, Eliza and Emerson. They are four and three years old now." Liv: "Wow, they're really cute." Aaron: "Yes, they are. I've never met them in person. My sister moved to the US a few years ago and hasn't gone home since. I haven't seen her since--" I waited for Aaron to finish what he was going to say, but he just smiled and put the picture frame down. He then looked at me and said "Let's cook dinner, shall we?" I tried to smile despite my curiosity. Aaron was obviously hiding something but I didn't want to pry. He'll open up if he wants to. When Aaron got to the kitchen he put on an apron before he started taking things out of the fridge. I offered to help, but he told me to just sit behind the kitchen island. I couldn't stop smiling as I watched Aaron skillfully navigate the kitchen. It appears that he really knows his way. It also appears that he's well-prepared and already has the ingredients ready to cook. I continued watching in awe until Aaron was done. The table was already set when we arrived, and I helped Aaron put the food on the table. Aaron excused himself once more and when he returned, he was wearing a white button-down shirt and slacks. Aaron: "I wanted to look good for our date." I blushed as I looked at Aaron. He looks good regardless of what he wears, and I appreciate the extra effort he makes. Aaron prepared soy-cooked chicken and cream-based pasta. He also sauteed some string beans and asparagus as a side dish. He also toasted some garlic bread. The meal was amazing. I ate two pieces of chicken, three servings of pasta, some vegetables, and a few slices of bread. I drank two glasses of iced tea and a glass of water. Apparently, Aaron learned how to cook from his nanny. She's been with him since he was born, and she's taught him everything he needed to know when he started living alone. His nanny is now retired, but she still visits him every now and then just to check how he is doing. He lives alone in this massive apartment, but he has someone who comes every other day to clean. I wanted to ask him about his parents, since he hadn't mentioned them. Liv: "Uhm, the couple in the picture with you. Are those your parents?" Aaron: "Yeah." I was waiting for Aaron to say more, but he didn't. I didn't want to pry if he didn't want to talk about his parents, so I just let the conversation die. I helped Aaron clean up when we were done eating. He refused but I insisted. He had already cooked. The least I could do is clean up. I wanted to do it myself so he could rest a bit, but he refused once more. We finished cleaning up not long after, and Aaron invited me to watch a movie afterward. We sat on the couch, as we looked for a movie to watch. I can't remember the last time I was in a movie theater, and I don't usually have time to watch films anywhere else, so I let Aaron decide on what movie to watch. The movie choice was futile, since we didn't get to watch it. Once the movie played, Aaron and I started kissing. It got intimate and after a few minutes, I was lying on my back on the couch, and Aaron was positioned on top of me as we kissed.
