Soulmates

Matt was roaming around in his car . He thought that he may be could give a ride back to home to Emily . So he had some time to crash . He was wondering what he could do . After all it is not easy to kill time when you are alone .

He saw Jessica outside a club . She was just standing and doing something in her phone . May be she was waiting for someone . So what if she is ? Matt was not supposed to be concerned about her anymore . He tried to pretend like he didn't saw her and drive away but he could not help it . He wanted to make sure Jessica was fine . Though it didn't looked like she was in any trouble . Oh Geez ! What did this girl do to his head ?

He parked his car and was going towards her . But then someone came and hug her from behind . He wanted to pull out the eye balls from his socket . It is not easy to see the person you love with some body else . Of course he told her and even Emily that he had nothing do with her but that could not make his feelings disappear . He was still a human .

He took his steps back but then he noticed something weird and that was Jessica's expressions . She chose Tyler willingly but it could be clearly seen from her face that Tyler's touch was making her feel uncomfortable . What was this supposed to mean ? She was with Matt for a long time but she never looked uncomfortable before . Something was weird .

Matt tried to think about the promise that he just made to Emily that he will try his best to get over Jessica and of course spying her won't make this process any easier . He wanted to walk away but still he was getting drawn towards her . He just wanted to clear the doubt that was troubling him whether he was over thinking or something was really wrong .

Tyler and Jessica went inside the bar . Matt ran to follow them but the bouncer stopped him .

" Where are you going ? " The bouncer asked him .

" In of course . "

" You can't go from here . "

" Why ? The sign clearly says entry . "

" Yes it is but for VIPs . Commoners like you will have to wait in line . If you are lucky then you will get in . " The bouncer points to a long - long line that was almost about three blocks .

" Holy s**t . "

Rachel was proud of her excellent idea . She took the glass of water from Emily and made her stand in front of Judy that was sitting with her head hung down .

" What are you doing Rach ? " Emily whispered to Rachel . Rachel signed her to be quiet .

Rachel said to Judy " I have a solution to your problem . " Judy looks up with hopeless eyes . " Judy you remember that you just told me how you wished that there was a singer in ' The Beanery ' who can take control of this concert . "

" What is going on here , Rach ? " Emily asks Rach but again she signs her to be quiet . Emily was not able to understand anything .

Rachel says cheerfully " Well now you could be tension free because there is a singer among us . "

Emily was about to whisper who to Rach but before she could Rach gave her a creepy stare and she realized that still she was supposed to be quiet but luckily Judy asked the question on her part " Who are you talking about Rachel ? "

Rachel says " She is standing in front of you . "

" 46 . . . 47 . . . 48 . . . . 49 . . . . 50 f**k ! I don't think that I will be able to get in . " Matt was standing in the long . . . . . long . . . . . line to get in the club . Almost fifty people were ahead of him . It is not the only club in town so why do every one has to come here even when they know that it is hard to get in as the bouncer said for ' commoners '. They don't have a girlfriend to spy on. Ok fine! the ex girlfriend .

" How many of us will get in do you have any idea. " He asked the person that was standing in front of him .

" I don't know but I think that the club is almost full . Now any second they will ask us to go back . "

Oh no ! no ! no ! Matt has not wasted all the time here to go away . He has got to find another way . Why was he even concerned about Jessica when he wanted to move on from her and what will he do if Emily finds out ? Oh it is so complicated, he is spying his ex over here and he is feeling guilty about answering to a girl he is not even in a relationship . Wow how interesting his life is !

Matt looked around he saw two people coming out from a small door at the back side of the club . They looked like the workers . Ok so now he could not get in by following rules it was time to break them . He had to sneak in now . It was risky . He could get tossed out or he could get fined or he could loose his license for a year .

He casually walked out of the line . He walked forward a few steps , he didn't wanted anyone to get suspicious . And then he made his way to the door . It was silly of him to expect that they will leave the door unattended . . . . .

A door staff was guarding it . The bartenders or the club staff were permitted to use this door . How will he get in now ? Students in Matt's college knew him to be a bully but that was just a mask he puts on to look cool otherwise Matt strictly follows all the rules . He knew he could get caught but still he was willing to give it a shot . Even he didn't knew why he was taking all the trouble . Jessica was inside in another's arm and that was the last thing he wanted to see .

Matt went to the door staff . He looked kind a creepy . He had a long nose even that was trying to run away from his face .

" What do you want boy ? " He said checking out Matt from top to bottom .

" Hi , you know there is a long wait to get in the club . "

" I work here why are you telling me this . "

" Yes , yes , is there anything you could do about it ? " Matt said waving a dollar in air . The man looked at the note like a starving person looks at food .

" Boy what do you want from me . "

" I will not beat around the bush . See I have to get in and . . . . . ."

" And you want me let to you in . "

" Oh good so you understood . So you will help me right ? " Matt winked to him and yes now he was acting creepy .

" No I don't see it happening . "

Ok this was not the answer Matt wanted to hear " Why ? Why won't you . Listen my girl friend is inside . "

" And you want to spy on her ? "

" Maybe . . . . Maybe not . Why did you think this ? "

" It is simple she is in and you are out . And I understand once I spied on my girl friend and I found out that she was cheating on me with my best friend . "

" Oh it is sad . So now you know how I feel so now can you help me get in . "

" No I am sorry . " He said asking Matt to leave .

" Why not ? "

" Because it is a risk to my job . If any one will find out then they will take this job from me and I am in urgent need of money . "

" Oh ! " Matt said taking out his wallet . " Well I think that we both can help each other . How about ten dollars ? "

" How about a hundred dollars ? "

" What ? don't you think it is a lot ? "

" If you want to get in then you will have to give me a 100 dollars . "

" Ok how about I give you 50 dollars . "

" No , the last offer is 80 dollars . If you want to get in then you will have to give me 80 dollars . Or else make your way . "

" Fine I will give you 80 dollars . " Matt takes out 80 dollars from his pocket and gives it to the man . He opens the door and lets him in !
