The hangover

" Of course it is , you can't get Jessica so you are going for me but what if she comes to you and says that she wants to get back with you . You will go back to her and you will leave me alone . What will I do then ? Just sit back and cry for you ? I can't get into a relationship with you until I know that you are over Jessica . I want you to be with me not because you need me but because you want to be . I don't want to be your option , I want to be your priority and I don't see that happening right now . "

" Ok , what if we don't come into a relationship . What if we become friends and then we will see where it takes us . If we are meant to be then we will get together against all odds . And sometimes it is good to leave things in the hands of destiny . "

" I think we can give it a try . Being friends won't do any harm . "

" Yes exactly " He extends his hand to her " So friends now . "

" I guess we are . "

" So where are you going now ? "

" The beanery , I am meeting Rachel there . "

" Fine , I will drop you . "

" You don't have to . "

" I know I don't have to but I want to . And you just said that we are friends so being your friend I can offer you a ride and you better accept my offer because I have waited about 2 hours for you sitting on the stairs and about an hour ago mu battery also died . "

" Fine , you can drop me . "

Emily sat in Matt's car . She was wondering if she did the right thing . She had some doubts there but she knew that Rachel will definetly freak out when she will tell her that she agreed to be friends with Matt .

Emily was in the car with Matt . it was a bit weird that few minutes back she was thinking of ways to get over him and how he affected her life but now she was sitting with him . She just got a text with Rachel it said that she got stuck in traffic so she will be late . Emily thought that she was meeting Judy for the first time so it will make a better impression if she takes some gift with her and she had some time to crash since Rach was going to be late .

What could she get her that she will find pleasant and at the same time she won't think that Emily was trying to bribe her . Emily asked Matt but of all the suggestions he gave not even one could be considered . She can't get her cake because Judy herself owns the bakery . She thought a lot but she could not come up with any good gift so she thought that may be she could get her flowers . Every body loves flowers . They are pleasant to watch and they give positive vibes . So she got a bunch of lilies .

Emily got off the car " Thank you Matt for dropping me . "

" Thank you for being my friend . " He said and then he drove away . Why can't he act sweet like this always . Why does he have to change .

She stood outside the gate waiting for Rachel . Rachel showed up in a few minutes .

" I am so sorry Emily . When did you get here ? Have you been waiting here for long ? "

" Oh not what can I say . "

" Stop acting like you came long ago . Oh you brought lilies . They are so pretty . You got them for Judy ? "

" Yes I thought that it will be good to get a little something . What do you say ? "

" Yes it's good . Come let us go in . "

The atmosphere inside was very pleasant and soothing it was because of the young girl that was singing live . No customer was touching their order every one was lost in the melodious voice . It felt like the walls were also cheering along . Every one was applauding her .

" What is going on here ? " Emily whispered Rach .

" Every eve someone performs here . Of all the people that have ever performed here this girl has the biggest fan base . Every body loves her . Many people come here just to listen to her . "

Emily thought to herself may be she could also sing here . Singing in front of the live audience will prepare for the competition . It was such a great opportunity for her !
