I was from this little town called Baskerville on the edge of Volterra, I grew up there with my sisters, our parents died when I was young and my older sister raised us before she disappeared. My other sister, Maggie, left home to find her and I never saw them again, I was seventeen when she left, and on my own ever since. Before moving back to Baskerville, I did many underhanded things to survive in this man-controlled world. I had traveled for a while to develop my magic and search for my sisters but to no avail, however, Queen Marion made it possible for women to thrive in Volterra. I ended up working at this little bar where many tourists pass through, that's where I met Rory, he was a Bear and a sexy one. At first, Rory was shy, well-reserved, and didn't initiate the first conversation.

I saw how the women at the bar looked at him, he gave off this bad boy, hot as f**k vibe, and I wanted him, wanted him in my bed and my life. We started talking on his third visit there because I made it my mission to get him to fall in love with me but he made it clear he was working and passing through and nothing more would come out of it. I didn't care, I was sure I could change his mind and we started dating. It took about two months before we finally slept together and it was an amazing experience, I mean I was no virgin, I lost that on my travels years ago and slept with many men to survive the harshness of Ravena. I had to avoid being enslaved by King Roman as an unclaimed woman. Rory ended up staying at my little cottage instead of renting, we were like a newlywed or mated couple and I did everything hoping he would mark me as his.

We were together for two years and I kept dropping hints but he always told me he wasn't ready and had to move back home soon. I offered to go with him but he made up some excuse about his family saying, "They wouldn't approve of us," I assured him I would be mated to him and not his family. I knew I couldn't handle them, even Roman's intermixing law wouldn't have stopped me, I would change into a bear to be with him. Rory would change the subject every time the topic came up and we ended up in bed f*****g each other. I had fallen madly in love with Rory, I secretly came off my birth control hoping he would get me pregnant but it never happened. I wanted to force his hand because I was never giving up on him and allowing someone else to mate him, Rory Fitzpatrick was mine and mine alone.

Present Time

I am still trying to find Clarke, how dare he make me fall in love with him and then he up and leave without even saying a word or goodbye letter. I didn't know he was Prince Clarence until I saw him at a function shown on TV, he was the Bear King's little brother, he was still sexy and I held a candle in my heart for him. I got an old shirt with his blood stain and took it to a powerful witch so I could have Clarke return to me, however long it took. I couldn't believe I found him, when I met him a few years ago, his name was Rory and I looked for him all over the town but no one knew who he was. Now, when I am through with him, he will be mine forever, not even his mate will save him. First, I need to get him to leave the Kingdom and be closer to me, that way, once the family bond is broken, he will only have me to turn to and once I mark him, it will be forever.

I met up with Clarke at the bar in disguise, I needed more of his blood to complete what I wanted, and I found out he was heading to Blood Moon Royal Pack. I placed a spell on him that will lead him to me here at the bar where I can complete my mission, I need him to break his family bond but something is pushing back. I got him to drink my potion and he snapped at his brother, I hope he finally gets away from them so I can have him for myself. During the nights we spent together, I almost got him to mark me but something was stopping him which meant he had a mate close by, from my sources, he hadn't met her yet and I wondered why. I needed to stop it before he claimed her, so I headed out to Bearmore where I could be close to him and get him to fall in love with me, I hope the love potions work.

Prince Clarence here I come, I will have you and no one will stop me, maybe, just maybe, I can get you on your brother's throne. I couldn't believe after searching for so long I finally found him, the spell made him forget my true identity so he wouldn't know it was me right away. I will not fail this time, Prince Clarke will be mine once I get this mate he hasn't met yet out of the picture, I would find her and end her before they met, and then he will be completely mine. I increased my magic at the Witch's Academy back home so I know, this time, everything will work out. I couldn't believe my eyes when Clarence first walked in with his brother, King Barron was sexy but I wanted Clarke and no one would stop me.

I decided to go with Barron on his trip to visit Prince Kyan, Roman's son in the Dartmonth Kingdom, Kyan wasn't like his father, and that had to do a lot with his mother's hands-on raising him and his twin sisters. we took Barron's truck and had two guards follow us in their truck, we talked a while and I didn't know Barron kept so many tabs on me when he asked, "Are you going to mark Kayla since you two are hot and heavy?" I said, "I just might but honestly, she found her mate a few days ago and I let her go," he was silent then asked, "When did that happen?" I looked at him surprised that he didn't know, and said, "When she went on her trip to visit a friend in Pixland, he was a guard for the Palace in Faeora so she is back home." He said, "Wow," in disbelief that she found her mate and chose to leave because of her history, afraid to go home, I guess when you have found your person, it will change you.

The talk didn't finish there, I wondered if he genuinely wanted to know about my life or if he was snooping to make sure I didn't stop his mating with my mate. He said, "So, the bites on your neck," I smiled and said, "Just some chic that I picked up at the bar last night, she will be gone by the time we get back," He said, "Be careful, no unwanted pregnancies." I said, "Don't worry, I won't be knocking up anyone anytime soon, plus, I don't think I care for a mate anyway, or anyone for that matter." I was surprised that he looked so shocked by my answer, I admit, I believe in mates because that was how we were raised but since finding my mate, my life has been torture to no end and I hated everyone and everything around me. We arrived in Kyan's territory and decided to stop at a motel to rest, I demanded separate rooms because I wanted to be alone, however, I wasn't ready to turn in yet and went to the bar across th street.

The crowd was lively and I wasted no time starting to drink, Barron had decided to go to bed early, he was such a bore since shacking up with my mate. I met up with this girl, she was friendly and sexy, I think her name was Barbie or something, but I didn't care, I was already a bit wasted when I saw Barron walking over to me with two beers in his hand. I was shocked because he was in bed but I guess his old ways won over in the end, there were voices in my head again but I drowned it out. As the night winded down, Barron tried to get me to leave and it didn't go so well, especially when I snapped at him to leave. he yelled, "No, you will not stay here like this," I calmly said, "f**k off, Barron, go and f**k your chosen," he was shocked because I touched a soft spot to him. I got under his skin and smiled saying, "You love stealing mates don't you, that's why yours was stolen."

That angered him so he pushed me and we both changed into our bears and started fighting, the bar patrons cheered and the city cops were called but we were so busy chewing out each other that we didn't realize we were tazed until we both fell on the ground in pain changing back to our human form. I inhaled calming down and I knew I needed to leave here before I pulled his throat out. I saw the woman from the bar and walked over to her as Barron walked over to talk to Kyan's Beta, Fallon, I held her hand leading her to my room so I could f**k her brains out. I was done with Barron and his games, he was seriously driving me crazy, I needed a break from my family because I would snap one day and kill him. I hated him and Lark for hurting me, I know that I will never get over this once they are mated and she is Queen.

He knew they were my weakness and I smiled letting him in, after I ate, I took a quick shower and then, we were on our way to Kyan's mansion.

The ride wasn't that long and we were there in no time, I could smell the wolves he had surrounding the place, and his Beta Fallon greeted us. Fallon led us to Kyan's office where he was waiting on us, we did our greetings and I saw my brother look at a picture of Sophie and her sister on his mantle. I knew he was still hurt about everything that happened, and it deeply pained him that Sapphire would grow up without her mother. Kyan walked towards him and said, "She has settled a bit, she still hates the situation but she is not letting it get to her and as you know, Seth is behaving." I felt a headache coming on again and Lark appeared in my head and I excused myself to the bathroom. I felt so much anger thinking about her and then I was normal again before heading back to the meeting.
