Things had been up and down for me for a while, I have been hearing voices again and got my meds doubled, sometimes I feel so out of it and wonder why I keep doing this to myself. Barbie has been doing her best and stays at my side no matter what, I love her for the person she is, and since I was finally told about Aidan and the others being back, I was excited. Roman time was near and after the stunt he pulled in trying to assassinate my nephew, Rowe, Barron wanted more than ever to have his head on a spike. Davina almost died in that attempt, I never saw Rowe so broken up about almost losing his mate, Davina turned out to be his fated mate after the incident after Ty saved her life. I was holding back my bear, he still longed for Larkina although he hadn't spoken to me in years, I wondered for a long time how my life ended like this and walked over to Ty saying, "Send me home."

Ty dropped me off in front of my house, he said, "Something is bothering you, Clarence, I am here if you need to talk or call Aidan," before he left. I smiled because he called me Clarence so I knew he was serious but this was my secret, my burden to bear, my family won't understand because Barron is King. I didn't see my car out front so I knew Barbie wasn't home, I went inside and took a beer from the fridge, "I really shouldn't drink it," I thought and stared at the beer wondering how it got in the fridge anyway. I wasn't about to break my sobriety and throw it away. I decided to shower, the house was silent, the TV was on in the bedroom and I started thinking about Lark. I reached the lake and I jumped in, I started to swim around when I heard a noise, I saw a bear come to the embankment and change back, it was my husband. He looked at me and asked, "Why did you run, my love?" He dived in and I was so scared, he swam up to me and said, "You are shaking, did something happen?" I told him, "I left the house empty, I expected you tomorrow, I panicked when I saw the shadow," he looked at me and said, "So, instead of going to Nolix who lives down the track from us, you run to the lake," and started laughing.
