Tonight was the night of the school dance. Everyone came dressed up already for the occasion, they also looked so excited. Most of the kids dressed to impress while some just dressed because they had clothes, I belonged to the latter category. From the way the students were roaming around the school’s compound, I highly doubted if we would have classes today.
I locked my new bicycle by the school’s parking lot then walked towards the school’s basketball gym. I decided that the best way to spend my free time was working out, it was better than idling around.
The basketball arena which was also the school’s gym was partially empty when I arrived. The students present were either deeply into each other’s eyes or making out without public regard.
