Chapter 14
Dante’s POV
I left our room early this morning. As much as I wanted to stay in bed with Cadi, I wanted to make sure the patrols left nothing to chance today. I wanted to make sure we were all ready when our guests arrived.
I mind linked Nolan and Tristian and asked them to meet me downstairs, it took me a few minutes to get a response from either of them, but they begrudgingly agreed.
The Omegas’ were already busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast when I arrived. I was too agitated to eat, but I poured three coffees, one for each of us. I was in the middle of pouring the last cup when I heard both the boys stumbling in, groggy and both sporting new marks on their necks.
“Rough nights sleep?” I joked.
“More like nap”, Nolan grumbled, “but worth it. It’s six in the morning
