The night sky was a cape of royal blue. The stars were peeking through clouds that covered the earth. We were making our way to the club, and I noticed the air was crisp and smelled like rain. The cresent moon dipped between the palm trees as we got closer to our destination. Jess and I drove in the front carriage. Marcus and Taryn were just behind us in their own carriage.
