Sitara POV
I walked in and looked at the campus. The campus is big, freshers, juniors and seniors are scattered every where.
Some are making conversations with other people while some looked scared. The freshers are said to gather in the college auditorium. I miss my friends and I don't know if I'm going to make friends or not.
We all gathered in the auditorium. INIFD means the international institute of fashion design. I joined here for the interior designing course of three years.
"Hi, I'm Pranav." The boy beside me said stretching his hand out.
I shook his hand "Sitara."
"What are you majoring in?" He asked with a smile. I observed that he wore a black Iron Man T-shirt while I wore a Captain America T-shirt.
"Interior and you?"
"Yes! Even I'm majoring in the interior."
"Cool."
"Are you from Hyderabad?"
"Yes," I said.
"Even I'm from Hyderabad. Where did you do your schooling and intermediate?" He asked.
"Ooty, I went to Hebron."
"Hebron? The boarding school? I heard that's a cool school with the huge campus." He said turning completely towards me in his seat.
"Yes, what about you?" He seemed like an easy-going person.
"I went to Hyderabad public school."
"How do you come by? The man who dropped you today, will he drop you daily?" He asked.
My brows frowned "Nah, it's my first day so he dropped. I don't know how I'm going to come by." We spoke randomly and got to know his other friend from school is going to attend the same college.
She isn't here because she is out of town, will be attending classes from next week.
The welcoming speeches were boring and then we are said to go to our respective classes. Pranav and I walked to our class along with many freshers.
Most of them are fashion designing students. Nothing special happened except introductions and all.
Everyone spoke about themselves in each class and I was easily bored. As it was the first day, our classes were till 12:30 pm.
"Do you have to go home?" Pranav asked.
"Nope."
"Wanna join for lunch?" He asked with his hands inside his pockets.
"Sure, why not." Pranav has his own bike. We went to a family restaurant and had our lunch. We spilt the bill even though he wanted to pay, I like to pay for my food.
I went home by auto, I spent my time talking with Aai, watching television and sleeping.

"Hey!" I paused the game and turned around to see Aarav.
"Hi."
"How was your first day?"
"Good." He sat beside me.
"Let's play a game." I handed him the other remote control. Restarting the game, I was playing road rash.
I looked at the screen to see player one and player two. "Let's start."
We started the game, I never played with them. This is the first time I'm playing a video game with Aarav, I love video games.
"What the hell! Hey, that's cheating!" Aarav yelled.
"Don't yell, this game is about cheating and beat down to reach the end," I say pressing on the speed button.
I smirked for the nth time as Aarav lost the game for another time. "How... How are you so good at this?" He asked in shock.
"No one can beat Sitara at video games. She has been playing video games for years now." We heard Elora's voice.
"Let's have a duo match, even David is here."
"Sure."
"No, I can't. I don't know how to play." My gaze shifted to David who plopped down beside Elora.
"Come on, it's a friendly play. Elora and I are one team, you and Sitara are one team." Aarav said.
"Done." I didn't say anything as they shifted places.
"Ready?!" Aarav asked excitedly.
"Yes!" Elora said. David looked unsure. So he really don't know how to play? The game started...
Even though we are leading one thing is clear David doesn't know a thing about this video game.
"You suck at this game!" I snapped at David as he lost another life.
"Hey!" He complained.
"Why are you crashing yourself? Just press the buttons and play as if you are driving a bike!" Aarav is back of me trying to hit me with his bike.
"I'm doing that only." He whispered.
"Ugh! Don't get hit by my sister or Aarav. I don't wanna lose this match."
"Okay... Okay..."
We ended up playing for two hours straight. We won and we lost, David really don't know how to play. Aarav is good but not good as I'm.
"I really like to play more video games with you." Aarav said.
"You are such a bad player, I don't understand why you are so bad at playing such an easy game?" I looked at David as he scowled. Aarav laughed, while my sister scolded.
"David wasn't a video game kid. His mumma didn't allow him to play video games as they are bad for eyesight." Aarav explained.
"If there is going to be the next time, I don't want him as my partner."
"Even I don't want to be your partner, kid."
"Don't call me kid, old man. I'm a college-going student."
"Old man? I'm not old." I rolled my eyes.
"When things age, we call them old."
"Why are you calling me a thing indirectly?" He asked confused. For a second he looked cute with his round glasses and confused expression.
"Aren't we all things? Living things? Remember in sciences we used to learn about living and non-living things."
He was about to say something when Elora stopped him. "Wait a minute, why are you both bickering?"
"Ohoh... Why did you butt in Elora? I was actually enjoying them both bickering. I never saw David argue with someone." Aarav grinned cheekily.
"No-one called me an old man before," David said.
"It's because they don't want to hurt your fragile feelings, old man." I used the words again just to see the frown on his face. He always smiles so it's good to see a frown.
"Sitara stop now."
For the first time, David and I are sitting on the same sofa, side by side which I observed.
I tried to ignore the fact that he is towering over me. I'm always the tall girl in my class and family.
I know David was tall but didn't expect him to be so tall. "Sitara, you actually look like an average height girl sitting beside David." Aarav commented.
"True." My sister agreed.
"What's your height?" Aarav asked me.
"5.7 feet."
"David's is 6.3 feet, I guess." Aarav said.
"It's actually 6.33 feet." Akka(sis) said.
"What's yours?" I asked Aarav.
"I'm 5.11" I know my sister is 5.3 or 5.2 feet. Later I unknowingly had my dinner with them. Aarav and David left after an hour.
Mum asked about the first day in college. I told her briefly what happened before going to my room.
I have my own phone and laptop now. There are only twenty contacts saved. I pulled the ringing phone out to answer.
My brows frowned when it showed an unknown number. "Hello?" I answered the call.
"Hey!"
"Who's this?"
They chuckled "Sitara, I had to message all your friends to have your number."
"Kabir?" the voice seemed like his.
"Yes! The one and only..."
"Lol, you could've messaged me on Facebook." I sat down in the wing chair.
"I already did, you never replied."
"Really? You aren't my friend?" I don't reply to the unknown but I barely get any messages as I only have countable friends on f*******:.
"I messaged you from my other account, you didn't accept the request nor replied to my messages." He says as I pull the pillow and laptop on my lap.
"Your other account?" I heard some shuffling sounds in the background.
"Yes, I can't message you from my original account as it is managed by my manager."
"Oh, what is your account name?" I browsed f*******:.
"Pandeji." I chuckled.
"What a weird name." I went through the request list. When I found him I accepted.
"So, your college began?" He asked.
"Yeah, by the way, do you go to college?" I don't know if he stopped his education or not.
"I'm doing distance, I attend the classes online at the time of exams."
"Cool."
"You are in Hyderabad? I thought you will be doing your education in Bombay."
"Change of plans will be doing my degree here for two years before I shift."
"What did you chose?"
"Interior designing, INIFD. Thankfully I can continue my course if I change my city in future."
"Oh yeah, Bombay has INIFD campuses." He says as I put the laptop away on the bed.
Surprisingly we spoke for two hours straight before going to bed. He spoke about his training schedule and about the upcoming tournaments.
