The bell rang. 'Yes!' Eloise said internally to herself. She's happy when her last class is finished. For her, she really is saved by the bell because the boredom almost killed her. It is obvious that she's really lazy in studying, right? Because she always want to go home. "Iris, let's go home together. I will treat you in our cafe." She said. Before they move to Amory, her parents already planned to open a cafe. "I'm sorry Elle, but you know I have a mission tonight." Iris said jokingly. "Are you serious? You're crazy!" She laughed at her "mission". Iris smirked. "For me and for the club!" *** It's been days when she last saw Iris. She has been absent for two consecutive days, which is very unusual for a girl who's trying her best to maintain her good marks. She tried to call her but her phone's always unavailable, which is very unusual as well. Did she lost her phone? Or did she break it? She even went where she stay but she's nowhere to be found. She thought that maybe she went to her parents' home town because she is living in Amory alone. She wanted to contact them but she can't. She doesn't know what happened to her. It's making her worried. She tried to talk with her other peers but they don't have any idea either what the hell happened to her. Iris is keeping her restless and damn worried for days. On the next day, her heart beat eratically when she saw policemen inside Amory High. She followed them and see a crowd of students and teachers in the back of the school where the garbages are being thrown. "W-what happened here?" She asked a student nearby. It's her classmate in history, Eva Lewis. She is a writer in the journalism club of Amory High. She has middle length brown hair, is wearing glasses and holding a camera. "The janitor saw a finger in the ground. That's when he found the body of a student burried there." She said seriously. "W-who?" Eloise asked the girl. She gulped. Eva looked at her small notebook. "Class 4-1, Maria Baker. She lost for a week and then now ... dead." Eva said. She feel sorry for the student who died but calmed down a little when she doesn't heard Iris' name because she's still worried that her friend's still missing. "It's horrible, because she's not the only one who's missing. Four other students as well." Eva said bothered. "What?!" Her eyes got big, unnerved in what is happening. While walking through her class, her mind filled with so much negativities. Does she need to go to the police and report Iris' disapperance? They have known each other for a month only, what if she just went to her parents because there's an emergency that keeps her from calling or even messaging. She stopped for a while when she saw a familiar face from a distance. It's Alfred. He is looking where the crime scene is. His expression is very different from the friendly aura he always show to everyone. Then everything flashbacks in her memory. Her heart suddenly raced in her surmise. Before Iris disappeared she said where she would go. In Alfred's lab.
