Zulu:     Just as I had expected. Sloppy. As I went over the blueprints I was seriously disappointed in them. Although this just made it all much easier for me, I couldn't help but think that the man who I once considered to be my father, is an imbecile.     There are two tunnels that lead out of the wall. I'm sure he had forgotten them. They lead to the underground dungeons the pack never used while I was there. Those were made for pack members that had betrayed the alpha's trust.      That has never been heard of in Fire Rose so there's no need to guard them or even think that someone would use them to break into the packhouse. Which means, this is the easiest and quietest route inside. Even if they did have prisoners in there. There would only be two guards. One on the inside and one guarding the door on the outside.      Jose would easily be able to take them down. Jason can tell us how close other wolves are. That boy has a magical sense of smell. Austin our beta, he's the best hacker and Broadway actor I've ever met. Not that I've met a lot of those. The guy as big as he is can worm his way into places no one would ever even consider. He is a really good beta as well. Alpha Ray had him watch me when I first came here. After that, he just wanted to be included in everything I did. His mate Nate adores me for keeping his man alive. Now and then we go out and have mani-pedis together. Something I've never talked Austin into.     "Austin?" I called out.     "Mmmmm," he hummed from behind the three computer screens he's sitting in front of.     "Remember those little camera thingies you made last year that you put in the girl's bathroom for Jose when Damara was cheating on him?"     "Mhmm. Yep,"      "I want you to plant them when we're in there. In the jail cells and anywhere you go once inside the packhouse. Do as many as you can,"     "Does Ray know?" he asked.     "No, but I doubt he'll oppose to it. Especially, when I get caught," he looked up giving me his undivided attention now.     "Get caught?"     "I need to speak with the alpha. Varco and I have some unsettled business,"     "So, getting caught is your plan?" he exclaimed like it was such a bad thing.     "He's going to let me out. I just need some time,"      "What if he doesn't Zulu?"     "It's a what if,"     "It's a hell of a what if. If he catches you after you having just killed his father. He's going to kill you,"     "He won't kill me,"    "Zulu  you don't know that,"    "When I'm caught they'll lock me up in the dungeons. Escape route, remember?" he shook his head knowing no one. Not even the alpha would be able to talk me out of this.  ~     We left all of our belongings in Jason's hummer. Once we were settled in we found that my dad didn't live in the packhouse at all. He lives in the penthouse of one of the grand complex buildings my mom had designed before she died protecting this prick. He stays up there all day and all night. No one went up there except for the four maids that take up his food and clean up after him.        "So, how much longer do we have to observe?" Jason asked saying the last word sarcastically it's better than when he says stalk. "The dungeons are open for us now,"       "He doesn't have any guards. Which means he's living as a human. Austin, go in and plant the cameras. Jose, I want you to distract one of the maids. I need her uniform. Jason go with Austin if there's anyone in the dungeons I want them. I doubt they'll have anyone down there but just in case. We start tonight,"       "We'll be home tomorrow?" Jason asked excitedly. We had been out here for a few weeks now. I think we're all feeling a little homesick.        "Yeah, you all will. Tell Ray and Jack I'll be home soon," they nodded.      As the hours ticked by, we started to grow a little anxious. My wolf was up and anticipating the hunt. She lives for this. When we were asked if we had any special skills all I could say was that we had them all. Tracking, fighting, and hunting but most importantly, patience.  When I was a kid, I always loved to be "it" during hide and seek and freeze tag. As a wolf, these games bring us closer to what role we would take in the pack.  As I grew older, looking for things became thrilling especially when it involved fighting and physical strengths.     When my wolf came in we were trained in combat, our tracking skills were good not as good to be trackers but good enough to be a fighter. My fighting skills surpassed that of a fighter and dwelled into strategizing. It's all about learning. Just because you can kick your opponent in the throat and kill him with one strike doesn't mean you should go for the kill right off the bat. When it came down to choosing Hunting was exactly what I needed and wanted more than anything else.     The pack had been so proud. I had felt loved at Fire Rose. It almost broke me when they shunned me no questions asked. What surprised me was that no one questioned why we weren't incarcerated instead of being banned just like the laws stated. I was cast out like I had meant nothing to them.       ~I got what you need, Zulu,~ Jose sent through our link. I got out of the hummer instructing Jason and Austin to go. Austin stopped me before walking off. I looked back at the worried way he was looking at me. He let go with a single nod.      Outside of the maintenance closet is one of the maid's outfit. Inside the pleasure filled pleas made me laugh. Jose had always loved the assignments I gave him. They usually involve s*x or fighting. It was the only reason why he requested to stay in our squad. He could be leading his own.     I quickly got dressed and made my way to the elevator. This dress is a little too big for me. The stitches aligning the inside are a bit itchy. Inside the skirt, I found the key card that belonged to the penthouse floor. I got my weapons ready and took my position just in case he was as paranoid as always.     To my surprise, he wasn't anywhere near the door I could faintly hear the TV on in one of the rooms. This place is huge and his scent is all over the place. It's just as I remember it. Woodsy with a hint of peppermint. I can hear him where the sound of the TV is coming from. He sat there on the bed with a book in his hands. Not a single worry in the world. He back is against the luxurious padded headboard behind him.       "What do you need, girl? I'm busy," he said without glancing up at me. I lowered my gun letting out a heavy sigh. This is not at all what I expected to find. The time for a fight had passed us both. I had waited too long for this.       "Living amongst humans has made you careless," I said. He jumped up dropping his book and taking a fighting position.       "Zuluna," his tone made me smile. There is fear there and in his eyes, as he moved trying to get far away from me.       "You knew I was in Blue Midnight so you convinced Varco to kill everyone there," I stated. "Lost the part that made you the warrior you once were but not the sadistic manipulator you've always been,"       "Zuluna, I'm sorry for what I did. I can't have my son look at me the way you did," he said putting his hands up.      He's old was all I can think. This man is long past his prime.       "Tough, I'm telling him everything,"      "You can't. You can't tell Varco I r***d Richie. He'll lose the respect he has for me. The respect he has for himself," I got just what I wanted from him. I put my pistol back into my holster and pulled out my hunting knife.      "Usually, I like to torture my hunt. My wolf likes to play mind games. I think we get that from you. But tonight. Tonight we're not going to do any of that. Tonight, I'll keep simple and make it fast. I have a phone call to make,"     "No," he rushed at me.  He is out of shape and alone. A true old man. Lazy and sloppy. I stepped aside and he fell on he knees. I quickly stepped over him placing my arms around his neck pulling.      "You feel that? It's called fear, old man. Vulnerability. That is what my brother felt when you pinned him down and had your way with him you sick mother fucker. I hope you suffer wherever it is that you're headed. I am going to make sure that you die not only here in this room all alone but out there. There will be no Demario Heatherstone Legacy,"      "Don't," he choked out smacking at my arms.      I tightened my arms until the sound of his spine cracking made us both flinch. I dropped him on the floor looking down at him as he tried to gasp for air. His arms reaching for me like a cry for help. My wolf growled in satisfaction as I knelt down one knee on his chest. With one fast strike, I buried my hunting knife in his chest. She didn't agree with the fact that we didn't prolong his death but she is content now. I took his phone and looked for the number I needed.       "What is it, dad?" Varco's grown voice greeted me. I didn't expect it to have so much authority.       "I'm standing over our father's body V. Come and get me. I'll be waiting," I heard him growl before I hung up.      There is no peace.  Cali said. The moment has passed.      "Yeah," I agreed looking down at the body with a smile. "This wasn't about peace. This was about the hunt. There was no hunt today. Just another tally on our kill streak,"      Are you happy with that?     "I am happy he's dead. I'm just mad at the fact that it was this easy. I missed my chance,"      What of your older brother?      "I can't kill him. The only thing that will keep Varco alive is the fact that I want to watch as he and his pack rot. I don't want to fix what this piece of s**t broke,"
