DEMIEN'S POV The pack was divided. Some stood by me, loyal and true, while others sided with the Chief Councilor, drawn to his promises of a different future, a future without Lena. The whispers grew louder, spreading like wildfire. “She’s a traitor,” they said. “A w***e,” they called her. “Her child is not yours, Alpha.” The words were venomous, poisonous, seeping into every corner of our community. I could see the doubt in their eyes, the uncertainty. Even my closest allies looked at me with questions they dared not speak aloud. I knew I had to act, to prove my strength, my leadership, to defend Lena and our son from these lies. The days passed, the tension in the air grew thicker, I could feel it, the weight of their glances, the whispers behind my back, the stares that lingered too
