After I dropped the call with Linda, I went straight to Damon's room to tell him what I have done.
“Damon, are you there?”
I knocked twice on his door but he didn't answer me. I figured out that he was still upset but I needed to speak with him.
“Damon, come on. Let me in.”
I insisted. Still no response. I decided to open the door. I mean, what's in there that I haven't seen before? I won't be surprised.
When I went in, I met Damon sleeping like there was no care in the world. I smiled, I have almost forgotten that Alpha or not, Damon is still like every one of us. We can still be very tired. His eyes opened slightly when I opened the door, so that meant that even though he would not react, he could still hear me. This is my opportunity to let him know.
