IN THE DAYS FOLLOWING Loriane’s departure, Sady worked from dawn until he could no longer keep his eyes open. Nothing would stop him giving all the time he had for his country. During the day he was in his office.
To keep him busy at night, he took a box of books so big that Farius and his faithful guard Orsan needed to carry it into the house for him and spread them on the table in the kitchen, where it was warm.
The box contained weather records for the Watya, Tamyra and Ysherra regions for the past five years. He went through all these weather records, and made maps, tables and drew charts. He hadn’t done this type of work for so long that he needed to look up his books to make sure he didn’t make any mistakes. The work was relaxing and to his surprise, he enjoyed it a lot
