FOREVER IN MY EMBRACE

CHAPTER 1

                                   i was not a princess and my life was far away from some fairytale

"Rooh, come fast jaan we are getting late" i heard my fiance , Arjun, calling me again so i hurriedly pinned my blue color dupatta on the side and then put on my red lipstick , he is quiet an impatient man but what can i do , it takes time to get ready when you are going out . Looking at myself one last time in the mirror i ran outside and then downstairs but being the clumsiest girl , i lost my balance and was about to just hit the ground but it never came , instead i felt myself safe in someone's embrace . 

I opened my eyes only to see that it was arjun , my best-friend who is also my fiance . 

"how many times do I have to tell you ruhani , don't run like that , you could have just hurt yourself" he scolded me , he was mad , he called me by my name but i knew he was more scared and worried for me , his voice and his eyes clearly showed it . i felt bad , i don't like when someone is upset and sad because of me . 

"sorry arjun , i promise i won't do it again " i kissed his cheeks to bring a smile on his face , and yes it because the next second he had a huge smile adorning his charming face . 

Arjun was a handsome man , he was tall almost six feet , his body was of the perfect shape that any woman would want , he was muscular but not bulky , he was perfect , his thick eyebrows , sharp jawline , the darkest black eyes and those two dimples were just cherry on the top , in short he was gorgeous but what attracts me the most about him is his golden heart and pure soul . 

Arjun is a billionaire , one of the most successful businessmen in india , but he was not arrogant or snobbish , he respected everyone , he owned several NGOs , Orphanages and old-age home , every year he organized a huge charity event for poor children , i was just too blessed to have such a person in my life , he is just the best . 

"I know but still-"

"shhh" i kept my finger on his lips .

"look i am perfectly ok , no harm done" i twirled to let him know that i was ok and there was nothing to be worried about.

"i just want you to be away from every harm , jaan , you know na how much i love you , i can't see you getting hurt " he kissed my forehead and looked deep into my eyes . 

"i know and i am sorry , i'll be more careful next time" i hugged him tightly , a smile formed on my face when i felt him kissing my hairs , i always feel safe in his embrace , so loved , so wanted and so protected , i wish i could stay like this forever in his embrace , forever and ever . 

"wow , i have been calling you kids since an hour to have the breakfast but look at you melting in each other like that " i blushed and hid myself in arjun's chest , dai-jaan was just too cool and too straight forward . 

"dai-jaan we were coming but this girl right here is too slow" arjun said and i looked at him in shocked , this snitch . 

"no no dai-jaan , it's him , he said that he doesn't like your food anymore so he said let her call ,we will have our breakfast outside" i lied but made a very innocent face . 

"what" both dai-jaan and arjun screamed at the same time , arjun gulped as he saw dai-jaan coming towards him , uh-oh someone is gonna get a huge beating , i wanted to laugh so bad right now .

"you liar" arjun said and tried to catch me but i just hid behind dai-jaan . 

"dai-jaan i swear i am not lying" i pouted and then gave a smirk to arjun but the next second my smirk vanished when i felt dai-jaan holding my ear in a tight grip . 

"ouch dai-jaan" i whinned 

"you little michief , i might be old now but i am no fool , i know my kiddo would never say such thing" she said and arjun was laughing at my condition , oh he will payback soon . 

"ouch s-sorry dai-jaan i swear i won't blame your favourite kid anymore , now please leave me it hurts" i pleaded and phew she released my ear , i rubbed it and pouted . 

"aww don't be like that " arjun pinched my both cheeks and dai-jaan laughed , i glared at them but then i couldn't stop myself from joining them .

"arjun make sure you meet the pandit ji on your way back" dai-jaan said as she fed me the last bite of paratha , yeah i know i am not a little girl anymore , but i love eating from her hand . my , arjun's and ayaan bhai's parents died in an accident , our parents were bestfriends , they used to live together , dai-jaan is ayaan bhai's grandmother , so we basically all grew up together , so when our parent's died in an accident , dai-jaan took our custody , she loves all of us equally , she is the mother we lost , the pillar that kept supporting us , the person who was with us in our lowest lows . 

"ok dai-jaan , will do" arjun said drinking water and then wearing his coat . 

"and yes come soon , it's your menhdi tomorrow , i need to do lot of arrangements and i won't be able to do it alone and yeah rooh remind arjun to bring some kaju-katli for ayaan, he is coming home tonight" dai-jaan said , she was in a rush , even in this age she was so energetic . 

"wow ayaan bhai is coming , ok dai-jaan i won't forget" i kissed her cheeks and arjun also did the same and then we both walked outside . 

"which one" he asked looking at the cars

"the black one" i said and he smiled , we walked towards the car and slid inside , arjun was on the driver seat while i was on the passenger seat , i have asked arjun so many times to teach me how to drive but this stubborn bestfriend of mine would never listen to my pleads , he says that i will hurt myself . 

As the car moved out of the garage , i saw four cars in front of us while four behind us and i knew that they were filled with guards . 

"arjun , why so many guards " i asked him .

"for your safety jaan" he said , his whole focus on the road . 

"b-bu-" 

"no buts jaan , you know nah this world is not for someone as innocent like you , there are so many bad people out there , and you faced one of such monster last time , i almost lost you last time , so no i won't listen to anything you will say" he said and a shiver of fear ran down my smile remembering the last time i faced that monster , after that incident it was the first time that i am going out of my home . if it wasn't for the wedding shopping i would be staying home only but since it's our wedding this week i had to step out of my house . i couldn't let arjun and dai-jaan do all the arrangements alone , even though we have servants but still . 

"Arjun why do we live in the outskirts so far away from the city" i asked him while playing games on his phone , we lived almost two hours away from the main city in the hills . 

"jaan , people in the city are a bad influence and i can't let you get tainted by them " he said and i sighed , he was not wrong though . he was right , there were really bad people outside and i always felt bad about this if there were good people out there then arjun would have let me go out , but because of those people i have been kept in our castle like mansion like a rapunzel , but i knew it was my safe haven .

but only if  she had stayed there and not stepped out today , oblivious to the fact that her safe haven was gone now ....
