Chapter 6Kol wanted to follow Elijah into his office but remained where he was.
“What’s wrong with you? Did someone slip you a Viagra or something?” Ric crossed his arms over his chest and scowled at him.
“No.”
“This case interrupting your porn night?”
“No.” Kol put a little growl into his voice.
“You suddenly have the hots for Elora?”
“No!” Elora? What would make him think he had the—Oh…“Don’t you think you’d picked up on it earlier if I had the hots for Elora?”
Ric shrugged. “You can’t control attraction, though, judging by the scent you’re about to cream your pants. So…” Ric gazed around the office. “…have you hidden a she-cat somewhere in here? I didn’t pick up on any foreign scent other than the guy Elora’s with.”
Kol wanted to snarl at the implication of Elora being with Elij
