Happiness and relief washed over Ryker when he heard her say she would come home with him. He grabbed her face and kissed her before even realized what he was doing. He felt her tense up then relax into him. He deepened the kiss and she opened up to him. He wrapped his arms and pulled her into his lap. Talia felt a wave of deep love wash over as she sat in his lap. She kissed him as if her life depend on it and he met her with the same ferocity. She turned to straddle him and shuddered as he ran is hands down her back. She broke the kiss and looked at the man who held her and all she saw was pure love. She put her hand on his cheek and he kissed her palm. As he sat there with her straddling him and her hand on his cheek and a look of love he had never seen before, he knew he would love this woman till the day he died and protect her at all costs. He pulled her closer and whispered I love you Talia. I love you Ryker she responded without hesitation. He kissed her again this time more slowly. Every ounce of him wanted to fully bond with his mate but he refrained. She had been hit with too much at once and he didn't want their first time to be in a moldy cabin. He reluctantly pulled away and said we shoukd head home before it gets dark. They both stood up and he kissed her for head and grabbed her hand. Ready? Yes she replied. They had only had been on the trail for a few minutes when they both sensed someone following them. Ryker became immediately on alert. Searching every part of the forest he could. They picked up their pace. Ryker mind linked with his father. I am in the woods. I found my mate. We have someone following us. Dad she is the missing daughter. We are coming son. Protect her. Then they continued walking. They both tensed when they heard a voice behind them. Who is this f*****g b***h Ryker?! Ryker turned and saw Serena. Blocking her path to Talia. Celine came from the bushes and stood nose to not with Serena. Ryker felt pride when he saw how unwavering his mom was. A true luna. They are the alpha and luna of our pack and you will not come near them again. Serena shifted and screamed I am the luna not that w***e. Celine smacked her so hard the sound echoed. I ripped my husband a new one the moment he told me about that agreement. It made me sick to think that my son would be forced to sacrifice his happiness and marry a skank like you. This isn't over and with that Serena shifted and took off. Once Tobias and Celine were certain she was gone they all shifted. Celine walked up to Talia and put her hand on her cheek and said I can't take her place but I can love and protect her daughter like I know she would want me too and I will help you get your revenge for her death. Tears ran down Talia's cheeks. She looked at Tobias and saw the same look in his eyes as his mate's. Ryker squeezed her hand and she squeezed back. We must save my pack from his clutches as well. Everyone grunted in agreement. They will be welcome here if they choose to stay. Talia smiled with deep gratitude. Ryker spoke up. Well we best be in our way before that b***h gets him to storm this forest. They all nodded in agreement and headed for home. Everyone was on alert as they made their way down the trails. This was gonna be a long trip.
