Chapter 18 : Sudden Attacks

 When Cross ordered his Soldiers to advance and capture Kevin, suddenly an attack occur, it came from an unexpected enemy. Namely the Gargoyles, Surprisingly the figures of Gargoyle monsters came to the facility, they jumped and broke the windows When Kevin and Cross were arguing, and they came in large numbers, even the doors in the building were also forcefully broken down. by the arrival of Gargoyles, which immedietely shocked Kevin, Oliver, Doctor Rengga and Cross. When the Gargoyles' attack came, Cross and his soldiers ducked to avoid the falling glass shards, as did Kevin and his friends.

 Then the Gargoyles who were already inside, immediately pounced on the Soldiers and attacked anyone blindly, resulting in a very brutal fight in that place. And like it or not, Kevin and his friends had to get involved in the battle, they had to fight the attacks of the Gargoyles who came suddenly.

 Then Kevin immediately took out his gun so he could shoot the Gargoyles who were coming towards him. And when Doctor Rengga saw the weapon Kevin was holding, at once Doctor Rengga's face widened as he said, "That's a weapon, it’s Alan creation."

 "Well, that's right, Doctor." Kevin said while aiming and shooting at the Gargoyles.

Meanwhile, Oliver didn't change into his Gargoyle form, because he anticipated so he would not be targeted by the Soldiers. Oliver decides to focus on protecting Doctor Rengga and trying to find an opening so they can leave the place.

 But over time, the number of Gargoyles that came to the place grew, so the place was now surrounded by ferocious Gargoyles. They came from various directions, and even the guards and employees in that place were also the target of attacks from the Gargoyles, so that now the facility building seemed to be a place to eat for those hungry Gargoyles, they partied to shreds and devoured every people they meet. And all the humans who were there did not think that this day would turn into a nightmare, they did not think that there would be a m******e, and that terrible thing could happen in a place that is considered the safest place in this nation. The employees who were there felt both shocked and surprised at the same time, because the facility building where they worked was a very secret place and could not be easily found by others, but now the facility was attacked and swarmed by the Gargoyles.

 “Ho- how did they find this place ?? AAAAARRRKKHHH ..... !!! " Said one scientist who is then devoured by the Gargoyles.

 Meanwhile, Cross, who was fighting against the Gargoyles attack with his Soldiers, kept shooting at the monsters that kept coming, while his three targets, namely Kevin, Oliver, and Doctor Rengga, had gone away from them, so Cross was annoyed because now he lost track of his targets.

 Elsewhere, Kevin, Oliver and Doctor Rengga ran into the evacuation hallway in the facility, they continued to run through various rooms while trying to find a places to hide, because Oliver and Kevin realized that the number of enemies who had come was very large and that meant their situation is in grave danger. Moreover, the bullets that Kevin brought were only a few, because he left all the bullets in the car, and he parked the car in forrest area outside the fence of the building.

 Therefore, at this time Kevin didn't carry many bullets to be able to face all the Gargoyles who were arriving there. In addition, Kevin and Oliver also did not expect that the place would be attacked by hundreds of Gargoyles at the same time when he was there.

 So that also raises a question in Kevin's mind. How did the monsters find NeoGen's secret facility? And why did they suddenly attack now?

 So Doctor Rengga asked Oliver, "Oliver, sorry I asked yo like this ... Have you told the other Gargoyles about the location of this place?" Asked Doctor Rengga.

 Then Oliver answered. “N- no Doctor. I never told anyone about it except Kevin. And that I just did today. "

 "Hmm, then how do they know about this place?" Asked Doctor Rengga.

 "Kevin, what do you think?" Asked Oliver.

 "I don't know either."

 "I'm really confused." Said Oliver. 

 Then suddenly, there was a creature that broke the window in front of Kevin and his friends. After the creature was in the building, at once Kevin and his friends stopped. Their eyes immediately fixed on the creature figure, that creature is a gargoyle that has a large posture and looks creepy, but that creature looks different from other gargoyles. He had a face that resembled wolf with bushy hair, she also has longer and sharper claws and a tail. The creature's figure looked like a combination of a wolf and a gargoyle, with the entire skin surface of rock-hard.

 Kevin could only be stunned when this figure suddenly came, especially when he and his friends were also surprised because this figure could find their whereabouts on her own, even though Kevin and his friends had struggled to stay away from the attack area, and currently were looking for hidden place.

Therefore Kevin immediately asked the wolf gargoyle figure.

 "Why did you find our whereabouts?"

 But the monster did not answer, and only showed a black cloth to Kevin, so after seeing a piece of that cloth, Kevin still didn't realize that a piece of cloth was his, and even he was still amazed as he continued to stare at that piece of cloth. Meanwhile, Oliver, who had been speechless because he was shocked at the arrival of this figure, then started talking to Kevin.

 "Kevin, She is one of the Holy Grail Generals ... Her name is Roschi."

 "What?? It's a she?” Kevin was surprised.

 "Hmm, Roschi." Said Doctor Rengga.

 Then Roschi the wolf gargoyle started to speak, “Oh, so you two named Kevin and Oliver… Hmm, you are handsome too. But unfortunately I have to finish you off here. Because you guys killed my friend George!!” Roschi said.

 Then without further ado, Kevin immediately fired several bullets at Roschi, but while closing his eyes, Roschi was able to avoid each shot from the bullet with ease, so she could continue walking near Kevin without a hitch. Then she immediately gave a scratch attack on Kevin's body, causing Kevin's clothes to tear, and Kevin's stomach suffered scratches.

 "AAAAAAAA !!!" Kevin fell to his knees after being hit by the attack.

 Then Oliver immediately changed to Gargoyle form, so he could match Roschi's strength. But again without looking, Roschi can easily dodge all attacks from his opponent, then he delivers a s***h attack on Oliver's body, causing Oliver to fall down too, just like Kevin.

 "How can he avoid all of our attacks easily?" Asked Kevin.

 Roschi only smiled sarcastically in response to Oliver's words, while Kevin immediately answered. “No, I will fight her together with you! Doctor, get out of here. " Kevin said.

 Then Doctor Rengga, who was standing behind Kevin and Oliver, was hesitant to go alone, besides that he also felt the possibility of surviving Roschi and his troops was very thin, because at this time the situation in the facility building was also in chaos and not safe, therefore in a short time, Doctor Rengga had to think hard so that he could save himself with Kevin and Oliver at the same time. And suddenly an idea occurred to him, so without thinking anymore, Doctor Rengga immediately ran away from his two protectors, he ran to a place not far from there.

 Kevin and Oliver didn't mind when Doctor Rengga suddenly ran away from them, because the most important thing for them at this time is the life of Doctor, so he could survive from Roschi. Then by combining their attacks, Kevin and Oliver attempt to attack Roschi at the same time. Oliver gives physical attacks, while Kevin gives the shots that he directs at Roschi's face, because Kevin's goal is to destroy his enemy's sense of smell, so that Roschi will lose her ability to read the opponent's movements, then Kevin and Oliver can defeat Roschi.

Because apart from having high strength and speed, Roschi also has techniques to dodge every enemy attack swiftly and efficiently. For example, when avoiding a kick from Oliver, Roschi also tilted her head to the side, so that she could avoid shots from Kevin at once.  Meanwhile, Kevin and Oliver must have difficulty matching Roschi's agility, moreover they both have to try to avoid every attack from Roschi, who is very fast and strong, so many times Kevin and Oliver have to receive scratches or lashes from Roschi's tail.  Meanwhile, Doctor Rengga didn't actually run to get out and save himself, but he ran into a room that was tightly closed and only certain people could enter it. There was a kind of panel near the door of the room, and by rubbing his identity card on the panel, Doctor Rengga could make the door open, then after that Doctor Rengga rushed into the room behind the door.

 Instantly the lights in the room turned on when Doctor Rengga entered, the room was round and the size was quite large, with a tube that stood right in the middle of the room. The tube contains a green liquid, and in it there is also a small creature sleeping with its mouth covered in an oxygen mask. The creature was sleeping quite soundly and his figure looked adorable, it seemed that the creature had been there for a long time.

 Then, while feeling anxious, and in a hurry, Doctor Rengga approached the control buttons that were there, as if he was going try to wake up the creature and let it loose. That is the best idea that Doctor Rengga have right now, so with that he can help Kevin and Oliver who are still fighting tooth and nail against Roschi.

 In the midst of the chaos that was happening at this building, Cross and his Soldiers were also fighting tooth and nail against the Gargoyle monsters, although now the number of Cross Soldiers was getting smaller because they died one by one, even Cross's body condition was also injured a lot, because he was overwhelmed by the large number of his enemies. Moreover, the call for help that Cross asked to head office could not come quickly, because it had took a long time for the back up Soldiers to travel from the headquarters to the Glichmond Mountain area, where the NeoGen facility currently being attacked.

 And because he waited so long, Cross finally got a big catastrophe, when he ran out of bullets and his Soldiers had all fallen, then Cross ran to find a safe place, but he had to give up when he suddenly was cornered and didn't know where else to go, while behind him, the Gargoyles were ready to eat Cross. Then at once Cross's body was surrounded by the Gargoyles, and he was crushed down on his back, then being eaten.

 However, before Cross died, he took a grenade from inside his vest, and after he pulled the safety pin, Cross threw the grenade upwards, so when the grenade fell again and hit the floor, the grenade immediately exploded and destroyed the bodies around it. Especcially the gargoyles surrounding Cross. Meanwhile, Cross's body was also flung far enough as a result of the explosion, then he was sprawled with a body covered in wounds and blood.
