Chapter 19: Confusion Damian looked at the black and white sketch on his lap. He read ERIE and MESH over and over. The word ERIE made sense to him; the direction the Highwayman was heading next. But MESH meant nothing to him. Damian hadn’t spoken to the man in over a year. No, two years. They really didn’t like each other and failed to get along. Mesh had a wife and three boys. He lived in Rochester, New York and owned an athletic store which specialized in hockey memorabilia. Mesh was an asshole bigot who hated fags.
