Justin Sydney and I are making our way around the supermarket as she decides what she wants. So far, we have cupcakes, Irn Bru and some crisps. I needed a few things while we were here, so I plan to pick those up to save two trips. “What else are you looking for, angel?” I ask. Sydney shrugs and laughs, “I have no idea.” Some things never change. When we used to have our date nights in, we would go to the supermarket to get what we wanted, and she always took forever. I didn’t mind; it was cute watching her face as she tried to work out what she wanted. “Okay, take your time.” I chuckle. She smiles sweetly at me. Our little trip has been going well. I think she has stopped hating me, even just for now. I will take what I can get. We make our way up and down the aisles, tossing
