1060 Words
With all the chaos and anarchy going on in the merged world. Valerie tried to resolve it the best possible way she can. Valerie was disheartened when she learned that Elizabeth and Joe were at loggerhead and constantly fighting themselves. She couldn't also control the individual fights going on between the werewolves and humans. And even lady Luna couldn't help too. Lady Luna still had visionary problems from the time Lord Zane blocked her spiritual eyes at the time of his first attack. Gabriel and Veronica were still at the hospital, still trying to figure out a way Gabriel could be freed since Joe was unfortunately preoccupied with other things. Valerie couldn't sit still and do nothing as things grew even worse day after day. She finally got so helplessly angry at the whole situation, she decided to take walk to their ancient ancestral prayer ground. As she got their, she cried to the god of the lycans to help her, if this was truly her destiny. She got really confused on what to do, she begged to the gods to either help her out or take away this destiny from her. After the long plea to an invisible god she fell into a deep sleep. Elizabeth was at the Light Gang's training ground with some of her squad members and Irwin too. She had gone there to confront Joe on the recent killings of the werewolves and his involvement in it. Joe denied it, but even got more angry at Elizabeth's effrontery to question his loyalty. "Just wait, who do you think you're? Elizabeth. You've forgotten you're talking to the second head of world security." Joe said in an angry tone. Elizabeth wanted to trust him, knowing how he has been very helpful especially when the underworld wanted to wipe out all the werewolves. But her trust in Joe was thwarted all because of Irwin's influence on her, he would tell things questioning her trust on Joe. While they were at it, Irwin pulled out his gun and shot at one of Joe's men, though he didn't kill him, he just shot him at his left leg. This was to further provoke Joe as Irwin shouted on Joe to either say the truth all he would continue shooting at his men. In retaliation, one of Joe archers shot an arrow at one of Elizabeth's squad members, though the archer didn't shoot to kill. This resulted in a battle between both camps. As both camp members rushed at themselves, Elizabeth and Joe stood at the middle of the all the fights going on just looking at each other. The looks on both Elizabeth's and Joe's face speaks of anger, and furiosity, but their was this other look on their face. It was like Joe and Elizabeth were empathetically telling each other that they never want to fight. It seems more like they don't even know how this fight even happened and they never wanted it to happen. At the hospital ward, Maria came with a hack saw to cut through the cuffs if possible. Maria felt like things were really getting worse and needed Gabriel to do something before it's too late to do something. Maria was finally successful hacking through the cuffs and freeing Gabriel's right hand. Veronica was also there with them, she was on the look out to see if any one was coming to Gabriel's ward. When Maria was done cutting the cuffs all three them sneakingly left the hospital. Maria, Gabriel, and Veronica all ran towards the Light Gang's training area to meet up with Joe so they can tell him all of Dawn's plans. On getting there, they were all amazed by who they saw there. Earlier that day, Valerie had woken up from the ancestral prayer ground and she moved towards the human world as though she was controlled by someone to do so. She also went along with her sword. She walk pass the separation line, walked into the human world and towards Joe's training area and was finally there as she meet the fight between Joe's men and Elizabeth's squad. "Stop!" Valerie shouted to stop their fights. They immediately stopped and paid attention to her She stood there with her face facing the ground as she raised her right hand with her sword up into the air. Immediately, a rushing wind blew pass her as her very long hair and her flowing cape jacket flowed with the wind. This gave off a hero's aura as Veronica, Gabriel and Maria came to the scene. Gabriel move closer to Valerie as everyone watched on. "I've something to tell you Valerie. Dawn, my elder brother is the orchestrator of the ongoing confusion in this world. He had planted some crossbreeds into the world again, this time in all security bodies just to cause a confusion. I wanted telling you guys, but unfortunately I was shot by my own brother." Gabriel said. Elizabeth and Joe looked so confused, immediately there were murmurings in the crowd. "The gods are really with me. Thank you god of the lycans." Valerie said smiling a bit as she raised her face up. "Joe and Elizabeth, please point out your most trusted men that have just joined your group in the past year." Valerie said with all anger and seriousness written all over her. Her rage could be felt all over the place Valerie's aura grew more intimidating and scaring. Irwin could feel Valerie's intimidating aura he immediately knew there was problem as he thought of a way out. "Irwin over there, he's my partner." Elizabeth said pointing at Irwin. "Samuel, he is my best archer and has further helped trained my other archers in archery." Joe said pointing at Samuel. Samuel was the archer who shot the arrow after Irwin shot at a Light Gang member that instigated their fight. On hearing this, Samuel and Irwin tried to run away from danger of being caught and killed. They both ran towards an opposite direction from Valerie. Suddenly, Samuel and Irwin were immediately stopped as a loud gunshot was heard, everyone could visibly see the bullets pierce out of their bodies with so much blood. As everyone looked at the direction of the shooter, surprisingly it was Alex, Valerie's fiance who shot them with two guns in his both hands.
