Chapter 54 - say 'thank you'
Upon knowing who he was, I couldn't bring myself to say the words 'thank you' that was on the top of my tongue.
I hurried and got on my feet, adjusted my head phone on my head while totally acting like he wasn't there.
But from the side of my eyes, I could see he was doing the same.
It looked like he was alarmed when he saw me like that and he had thrown away his books and what appeared to be a framed work of art that has now broken.
The glass was shattered everywhere.
I guess I was too immersed in falling that I didn't hear the shattering sound, because eitbwas a pretty large frame.
I peer a look at it as I picked up my bag but he caught me.
Clearing my throat, I went on to pretend like nothing happened and walked three steps down the staircas
