Trinity's pov The past three hours I and Ashley have spent getting ready. Applying the finishing touches to our make-up and outfits we leave my room finally making our way downstairs. I can hear the music getting louder with each step I take. We nearly reach the bottom of the staircase when people begin to turn and watch us, for once I felt good, I didn't mind people staring, I had just spent the last few hours letting Ashley go wild with my hair, makeup, most of the time was spent choosing the right dress for the night. I looked good, for the first time I felt sexy. We both finally agreed on a small black dress mid-thigh length with a plunging neckline, exposing the whole of my back however clung to me just perfectly. Ashley chose my shoes, black glitter stilettos, they sparkled with every step I took. Ashley had her dress already hung up in her room, it had been there most of the week she was too excited to wait, she wore an off-the-shoulder golden dress complete with a gold belt and gold strappy heels. Out of the crowd, I saw Dom walking towards us with a cheeky grin on his face, I noticed he was having a good look at Ashley, I'm not surprised she looked stunning. "wow! you two are beautiful!" He practically purred as he stopped in front of us. He spun around on his heels so his back was now to us holding out both of his arms. We each took an arm politely and walked with him as he walked us through the crowds, I braced myself as I could see where he was taking us, we were heading straight for Hunter and Mary who were currently talking to another couple that I didn't know. As we reached them I remained steady in my posture as Mary eyed me from head to toe, she scrunched up her top lip as though she was disgusted with what she saw, she didn't look happy. I'm not sure if I had done something to make her dislike me or whether it was just her way with other females, even the couple they were talking to noticed our exchange and walked away swiftly. "Ah this must be the famous Trinity I've heard so much about" Mary said with sarcasm in her tone, her smile was as fake as the rest of her. "Hi, it's nice to finally meet you" I replied to her with the same fakeness, I didn't like her tone there was something about her that told me she was trouble. "You look lovely, you both do" Hunter gestured towards myself and Ashley. "Thank you, so do you, well.... look good, I mean" I answered him. "Of course he does, that's why I love him" Mary was quick to reply leaning into Hunter as she rubbed his chest. "Cut the act, Mary!" Dom scoffed, he was quick to notice her little display of affection. "I'm going to take these lovely ladies to get them a drink" Dom added as he began to steer us away from the two. Mary glared at Dom, she didn't look happy with what he said. Hunter kept his blank expression on his face not saying a word, I could tell this wasn't the first time he had spoken out of turn to her. If Hunter disagreed with Dom I would imagine he would of spoken up. Mary watched me as we walked off through the crowd I felt her beady eyes on me from all the way across the room. something tells me that tonight is going to be interesting. I have met so many people tonight that there is no way I'm going to be able to remember everyone's name, Every time a waiter walks past Ashley grabs another two flutes of champagne. I was beginning to feel light-headed, grabbing Ashley I leaned in to her " I need some air!" shouting over the music so she could hear me. She nodded her head pulling me towards the door, walking out into the open the cold wind suddenly hits me, it felt soo good, we walked across to the grass until we reached our seat on the bench. "How are you enjoying the night so far?" she asks me "I'm loving it, I don't think Mary likes me too much though" I laughed. She shrugged her shoulders "I wouldn't worry about her she doesn't like anyone" "I see Dom keeps looking at you" I teased as I nudged her with my shoulder, both of us smiling together. "He looks at everyone, there are some beautiful girls in there, He wouldn't waste his time looking my way, I've told you he's not interested" the smile soon disappears from her face. "Well I think you're wrong, tonight I will prove that to you" I said. She looked at me suddenly worried "please don't tell him I like him, it will just make things awkward between us" she pleaded. "Relax, I wouldn't make things awkward between you both, just trust me, please" I asked her, I wanted her to be happy. She looked at me wearily for a moment "ok, and I do trust you" she slowly nods. She eventually laughed seeing the serious yet playful look I was giving her "Let's go back inside," she stands pulling me up with her. We headed back towards the party, but just as we reached the doors, two familiar faces are walking out Tom and Lucas both smiling their usual mischievous smiles. "What are two stunning ladies doing out here all alone in the col......." Tom stopped mid sentence, I think he has just realized it was me, Lucas started to laugh looking towards his brother " Dude your so dead!" "Hi" I and Ashley say in unison. "Sorry I didn't realize it was you" he apologized as he began to look around as if he was looking for someone in particular. "Hunter's not around is he?" I couldn't help but giggle to myself. "No, I think he's inside" I answered him, a look of relief flashed across his face. "Come on we should get in there too" Ashley pulled me once again towards the house. All four of us exchanged goodbyes as we head in opposite directions not saying another word. "Come on let's dance!" She shouted as the music took over once again. We started making our way through the crowds again heading to the large lounge area where people were dancing. It looked so different in here, there was no more tv no sofas just open space with odd tables round the outside. It wasn't until now had I realized this. We join some other girls who Ashley greeted and introduced me to, they were dancing and laughing and without hesitation pulled us into their group and let us join in. We danced for hours until our feet began to hurt, waving our arms and moving our hips to the music. I felt free, laughing with friends without a care in the world. "I need the bathroom" Ashley shouted to me, I nod my head motioning to her that I would go with her. Walking into the bathroom it was silent with only the vibrations of the music felt through the floor and walls. As if it was fate there was only one person in the bathroom as we walked in, Mary, she was just washing her hands. She looked up at us through the mirror in front of her and gave us both a dirty look as we closed the door behind us. I knew this wasn't going to end well. " Here she is, the star of the night, little miss perfect" she said as she glared at me through the mirror still. "Come on, I can wait" Ashley held on to my hand changing her mind about using this toilet, she knew Mary looked a bit worse for wear as she wreaked of alchol. She turned and walked towards us slowly. Apparently her and alcohol was not a good combination, "I'll use a different bathroom" I felt her pull my arm wanting me to walk out of the bathroom with her. I didn't though, I wasn't sure if it was the champagne I had consumed tonight or what but I wanted to know what this bitches problem was. "Is there a problem Mary?" I asked keeping my stance, here goes nothing. "I don't know, is there? you see I know you've been locked up for years however it's just common courtesy to not move into someone's home and try to seduce their partner, there is a name for girls like you!" how dare she throw that at me, I didn't even want to come here in the first place, and seduce her partner? I had done no such thing? "I've not tried to seduce anyone, heck I didn't even want to come here but Hunter insisted!" I threw back at her. "Deny it all you want, I know your game" she stepped closer to me leaving only mere inches between our faces her smirk still clearly visible "You better watch your back, if I see you near him again, I will make a call to your boyfriend Derek, tell him to come to pick up his trash, I know he would love to see you again, it would be very interesting if he suddenly appeared the next time Hunter leaves to go to a meeting!". She smirked. How could she threaten me with him, she knew what I had been put through all those years the heartless cow! Mary then turned her cold stare to Ashley who was already looking down at her feet petrified " I would be very careful if I was you, she likes to get her so-called friends into trouble and get them killed, shame if history repeated itself!" " you b***h!" I shouted as I stepped in front of Ashley blocking her from the evil bitches glare. Ashley had done nothing wrong, she was such a nice, innocent person she didn't deserve that, "If you have a problem with me, then keep it with me, Ashley has done nothing wrong" Mary was slightly taken aback by my brazen outburst, stepping back she began walking towards the door to leave the bathroom quietly. I turned and hug Ashley who was upset now, I heard Mary's heels on the tiled floor come to a stop again " You have until noon tomorrow to move your things to a different room. You don't belong on the top floor, that is for important people only. Really you should be outside chained up in a kennel, unfortunately, I will have to settle for you being in a room on the first floor, get it done before I make that call! night girls" she smiled as though she hadn't just threatened me and disappeared. Ashley calmed down after a few minutes she knew Mary would make her life hell if she didn't bow down to her, I didn't feel upset, I was angry, I wanted to smack that smirk straight off of her face, I knew that wasn't an option though, it would cause problems between myself and Hunter, and the one person Mary would take her anger out on was Ashley. I didn't want to cause problems for Ashley, I especially didn't want to see Derek again there was no way I was going back there, I decided to keep the peace, I would move rooms like she wanted me to. Then in a few days time, I will leave this house for good I can't risk her bringing Derek here. We decided to call it a night after that, parting ways Ashley went to her room leaving me on my own. dreaming of ways to get back at Mary, thinking about what to do for the best I couldn't control the tears, they began to stream from my eyes, just as I was starting to be happy something like this happens, maybe it was just destiny that I was never meant to find happiness in this life. I go into my room, slamming the door behind me, I kicked off my shoes in frustration. Grabbing my Pj's I stormed straight into the bathroom to get changed. As I came back into my room I head straight to my closet grabbing two large bags to pack some of my stuff in, I decide on just taking a few bits with me to my new room, I only plan on being there a few day's, as soon as I can get away without people noticing I will be gone. Walking out with two heavy bags I notice Hunter standing in my room, he stands staring at the bags in my hands, I drop them at the end of my bed turning back to Hunter exhaling loudly. He creased his brows as he stared down at my bag, "What are you doing? are you ok? why have you been crying?" He asked one after another. "Can you just leave please" I asked him, If I told him what Mary said there is no way he would believe me over her? "What?" he asked confused, looking between the bags and me "what's going on are you planning on leaving?" "I'm changing rooms" I answered keeping it short. "Why?" he shrugged. "I just am, can you leave please" I asked him again. "Trinity if you tel...."I can't risk Mary seeing Hunter here, I have to get him to leave so I cut him off. "PLEASE just leave I don't want to speak to you" I shouted. He looked like I've punched all the air out of his lungs, slowly, he does as I ask, "ok" he turns to leave the room. As soon as the door closed behind him I dropped down onto my chair, tears start to fill my eyes yet again, I don't want to hurt him it would be so much better when I leave he won't have to worry about me anymore. I don't know how long I had been sitting here for but I was startled by a quiet knock on my door. I had a feeling it would be Hunter again coming to see if I had calmed down. I sighed as I got up and walked to the door, pulling it open to see Dom standing there, he looked at me with a pitiful look. He walked into my room pulling me into a hug, I couldn't stop myself, I sobbed into his shoulder holding him tightly. A few minutes passed before he walked me over to the bed sitting me down, he took the seat next to me and brushed the hair out of my face. Using his thumb he wiped all the smeared make-up from under my eyes, I couldn't help but smile at his attempt to clean me up. "Speak to me princess, what's happened? I'm not going anywhere until you tell me " He said. I shook my head "I don't want to cause any problems, I just need to change rooms please" I plead with him. He looked at me curiously for a moment before agreeing to help. "ok I'll show you to one of the empty rooms, but you have to tell me why first" he sat looking at me waiting for me to explain. After I made him swear not to say anything to Hunter I told him all about Mary not leaving out any details. To say he was pissed was an understatement "What a b***h! you know Hunter will not let you change rooms, trust me when I say you need to go and speak to him, he needs to know this" "no, I don't want to cause more problems, I can't risk her bringing Derek here" Dom took a deep breath and calmed himself a bit "Ok, first thing in the morning I'll show you to one of the empty rooms ok, just please get some sleep and don't worry about anything Derek won't step foot anywhere near this place". I smiled and hugged him again "Ok thank you, you're a great friend" He hugged me back then got up slowly kissing my forehead as he did, "I'm just down the hall if you need me, ok" He said as he walked to the door. "Ok, thankyou" I nodded and smiled at him letting him know I was ok. As he left I decided to crawl across my bed and get under the covers, it is probably a good idea to try to get some sleep, the sooner morning was here the sooner I can get further away from that woman! Dom's pov Leaving Trinity's room, I was fuming, I wanted to go downstairs to find Mary and rip her head off myself. How could she be so heartless? I walk to my bedroom door barging through it, Seeing Hunter where I left him sitting on the end of my bed, elbows on his knees with his head dropped down into his hands, he jumps up "Is she ok? did she say anything?" He asked rapidly. I widen my eyes at him letting him know it's not good, turning to close my door peeking out into the hallway one last time making sure nobody was around I turn back to Hunter. "You might wanna sit down, your not going to like what I've got to tell you".
