He didn't stop till we hadn't heard any howls for at least an hour and even then he still jogged through the woods with ease.
"Damn you bears have some stamina, no wonder us wolves are no match for you guys." I said, as I moved up and laid my head on his large head and draped my hands around his neck now that we were going slower.
He chuffed at me and kept walking forward. I must have dozed off at some point because the next thing I knew, the sun was starting to set and he was moving his head to wake me up.
"Oh s**t I'm sorry" I said, sliding off of his back."
Once he shifted, he quickly scooped me into his arms and just pressed me into his chest. Placing his face into my neck, he took deep breaths trying to calm down. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him back.
