The time was running out like sand from the hands. My horse had been exhausted from the sprinting he did from the outskirts to the palace. Reaching the Palace gave me a nightmare, people were screaming and dying. These creature had infiltrated the palace like i expected. A saw a young maiden jumping from the tower so she won’t be eaten by the animal. She considered suicide as a better option than being a snack of a shadowy creature. My heart wrenched and shattered to saw he make this attempt to take her life. I rushed to save the young maiden and grabbed her on time.
