Her Hybrid Alpha (book 2)

Chapter 10

We arrive at the meadow the girls came to visit the witches , down near the tree line stood an elder lady. She waves her hand at us to come to her, Tiron and fero had fetched us here. They had a big old book with pieces tattered and missing off the cover with them. The girls had said the witches had a problem and they needed to be here. So here we was the kingdoms was safe now, we could be here with our mates and help them.

We all walk over to the little old lady and when we get close she's studying us , her eyes skip from one to the other. " We have never let outsiders into the village , be prepared to be given a wide birth or studied like an exhibit " she says it while smiling. Dante hands out his hand to her " Dante King of the Vampires I assure you we are no danger here ". She puts her small withered hand in his " I know who you all are , we all do. Your the exception of your kind , but we see you making differences it's why the people have allowed you entrance. Plus your all the Royalties mates and your all so handsome ". Dante almost chokes on the laugh he releases her hand ,  she removes her hand from his and starts walking indicating us to follow.

Once we step into the tree line she raises a hand , there seems to be sparks come from her hand and then an entry way appears. It looks like a dark vortex of some sort , she steps through and disappears. Dante shrugs and follows , " the witches have it like fort knox up in here " Cole says before disappearing through. One by one we all follow her in , on the other side there village is rustic. The old lady was right , everyone had stopped what they was doing to stop and look.

" Should I start making monkey noises or something " I say and the elder lady glances at me in amusement. " I did warn you Darius, come in I'll take you to your mates , I've just come from getting them settled into the Royaltie house ". She shuffles off and we are all left to follow. I wasn't looking forward to hearing what issues the girls now had, the queit life kept seeming to drift further and further away.

We round a corner to see a massive mansion looking house not really a mansion , but not a normal size house. Maybe like a big ranch house white shutters on the windows and a porch that wraps around the house. That's where the girls currently where ,laughing and joking with eachother and some of the witches. Anya looks up and spots me her face going from happy and joking to serious , she bites her lip as her eyes rake my body. Wasn't it suppose to be me that was like a dog on heat at the moment,  I feel my body start to heat up and my d**k definitely likes where this is heading.

" do you think you two could hold off until we atleast find out what's happening here ?" Dante laughs at me. I snap my eyes to him , not realising we had been caught eye f*****g one another. " No promises " I say as I pass him and head over to my mate. He was one to talk him and Sophie are at it all the time and in the worst times too.

Climbing the steps all the girls have now turned to us . " Whats happening here ?" Dante asks as he wraps his arms around Sophies waist and kisses her head. " lets go inside and we will explain what we know so far " Anya replies she stands infornt of me a sinister smile on her face her muddy brown eyes are glassy. " Yea let's get this done " I say mindlessly my brain was already in my pants. We definitely needed to do this quick or maybe me and Anya can scoot off and do that quick. Anya laughs grabs my hand and spins on her heel pulling me inside the house.

She pulls me into a room that has a huge dining table in , it seats roughly around fifteen maybe. I get the gist and take a seat and so do all the others. " so the witches called us here, because there powers are weakening. They chanel there power from the earth which as we can gather is charged by the ancestors. Della  the witch that is gifted and chosen to speak to the ancestors has been cut off, they've shut there doors and she doesn't know why. But them retreating leaves the witches here vulnerable,  they can't access the flow of power because its not their " Lisa says.

" Our people want us here , they need our help to try and figure this out. They did tell Della somone was trying to tap into there magic , if they do that the dead don't weaken " Anya says. " So can we be based here for a while , we can still do both things help Darius and the Hybrids aswell as help the witches" Sophie asks. Dante looks at me , this is getting messy he knows this effects me more than him. He can keep nipping back to his kingdom if needed.

Sighing I stand up and go to near the window , the rooms silent. They're probably waiting for me to flip again. " Connected " vax growls in my mind. He shocks me to begin with , I thought him being there would be a constant. But today he has been silent drifting in the back , i wonder if that's what he will always do. " What Is ?" He huffs " All of this is connected or has a connection ". I scowl as I stare out the window " How do you know ?".

" I don't belive in coincidence,  my instincts tell me it is ". I roll my eyes we can't take the word of his gut. " Darius " Anya says behind me , I turn around remembering people where waiting for me to talk. " sorry Vax was talking " I tap my head. " Look we knew our responsibilities where split when the girls became the Royalties we knew they had an obligation to the witches , Dante did to the vampires. Now me to help save the Hybrids,  we will be wherever our responsibility takes us to. Vax thinks it could be connected something about a gut feeling ".

" He may not be wrong " Tiron says , fero lays the book in his hands down in the table opening it up. " This is the book we learnt about the legend warlocks from , we forgot part of the myth. " fero says pointing at the book. " It says that the warlocks disappeared because Loki left them powerless when he went up there , basically what the witch ancestors have done shut the door on there power . It makes sense he made them he would be there power source. Everyone has a power source or a maker or something they channel from. The wolfs the moon goddess , vampires don't really need one they don't magically transform from one being to the next . They're constant made that way , witches the ancestors. Us the fates do you get where we are going ".

Anya stands up and starts pacing the room " So you think these warlocks are looking for a new power source , if they are what are they doing with the Hybrids ?  ". s**t it drops " The Hybrids are Loki and The moon godesses creation  they are trying to get there link to loki back , or they are trying to get to the moon godess".

" They're trying every avenue they can find , if it is them that's helping Bride. If it is them trying to access the witches power. We need facts proof these are all good theories,  but they are that we have no proof yet. Therefore we can't throw all our eggs into that basket , we could be distracted in one direction and miss the other " Dante says. He's ever the leader , he's the thinker. He looks around the room and lands his eyes on me. " The only ways we prove this is , speak to the ancestors or find it out through Bridie somehow".

Either way would be a hard task , the room turns somber again. " Get Della here , lets find out if there is some sort of way we can get to the ancestors. If we turn back up at hybrid pack lands where in for a fight . We still need to find a way to get Cage and Mathew back or atleast turn them back and get them scoping out the place while bridie thinks there still under, whatever it was she did to them " Anya sighs. Like Dante she was a leader too , would i ever compare to these two to be a good Alpha to the Hybrids.

" We think we figured a way to do just that " fero says they had been working with the girls , the plan was to send them to the cells. But things had got in the way , they hadn't figured out how to break the hold Bridie had. " we can't have both though we need them here to try and snap them out of it using a blocking spell , if we can block say this house from any sort of magic the moment they stepped in the door it would hopefully block the hold. But if they step out it could possibly take back effect. But obviously Bridie would notice them gone" Tiron explains. " Just get our guys back we will find another way " I walk out the room needing some air. I felt my agitation rising again , having vax in me heightened all my emotions it was going  to take a while to learn how to control them.
