Chapter 7“I’m so glad we’re finally done for the day,” Augustus said while putting down several shopping bags filled with clothes, shoes, accessories, and other items on the floor.
Then he sat on the chair right across the table from Simon. The two of them were about to have dinner at a small restaurant, which was located along the Chao Phraya River. The restaurant, unlike most of the others in this particular area, didn’t look impressive. It wasn’t a part of a franchise, and it wasn’t affiliated with any of the expensive hotels nearby. Augustus guessed that the restaurant must be a local one. Hopefully, the food would taste more authentic.
“You certainly had a wonderful time at Platinum Mall.”
Simon was grinning, and his tone of voice was slightly teasing. Augustus chuckled and nodded.
