Dean's POV

It has been seven years since I made the biggest mistake of my life. Valerie Morris was a beautiful girl, and I wanted her. She offered to sleep with me to save her mother. At first, I did not want to, but she was so beautiful and desperate. She was not willing to take the money from me in return for nothing.

I was disgusted by her actions, offering her body up for money, but I wanted her. I could see she was perfectly built. She had a beauty that no one else had, which intrigued me. I was lusting after her, and I felt disgusted with my actions. After she was gone, I saw the blood on my bed, but her face stayed with me forever. I could not forget her and those soulful eyes of hers.

Hannah made me come home from Europe to intervene in my son's relationship with Valerie. She only told me Valerie is from a low-income family and wants our son's money. She wanted our son to be with Belinda Sutherland. Belinda was already with my son, and I knew it was to save her father, but Belinda was what my son wanted. I offer to help the Sutherland group to ensure Belinda stays with him.

My son is a disappointment to me. Never in my life did I think that I would be so upset with him. I had to fight all these battles all the time because he was not used to fighting his battles. His mother babied him his whole life.

Hannah and I got married at a young age. We were nineteen when we got married because Hannah got me drunk and took me to bed. She fell pregnant, and my parents made me marry her. My son was born when I was twenty. My marriage was a big mistake. It did not last long. I didn't think it would because I never loved Hannah. Hannah always came after me, even after our divorce. She would not let go and always told me she loved me. She wants us to get married again, but there is no chance in hell.

When Valerie sent me back my money, I was surprised. She did not use dime and returned the card and pin to my office the same day her mother passed away. I thought she was a gold digger, although I knew she never slept with another man besides me before. I realized she was so desperate that she sold her virginity to me to save her mother. I knew I was in love with her. I have gained respect for her, and I know Hannah was an awful woman who will always fight her son's battles for him and did not care who she hurt in the process.

However, Oliver is the only one I have as an heir, so I am back in Los Angeles. I know Belinda would have left Oliver long ago if she could. She is not happy with him. She doesn't want to be with him. However, she decided to sleep with Oliver and use him to help her father. Henry Sutherland knows I will bankrupt him the day his daughter leaves my son. It is punishment for him and his daughter for being greedy and unwilling to work out of bankruptcy, but they took the easy way out.

Belinda has no shame in her. She even tried to get into my bed. She and Oliver stayed at my house one night wearing very little lingerie when she came to my bedroom. I turned her away because I was not impressed with her. She is not my type. Then again, nobody is my type since my heart still belongs to Valerie.

Unlike Valerie, who sold her body to me to save her mother but returned my money as soon as she knew she was too late to save her mother, Belinda is still a gold digger, and she and her father never returned the money I gave them to save their business. His business is doing fantastic again after I saved them, but they make no effort to return my money.

I bought Oliver and Belinda their own house so they could move out of my house. I don't want Oliver or his wife near me. What a disgrace that woman is. I am afraid to call her my daughter-in-law. As I already said, my son is a disappointment but decent and never cheats on his wife. He is like his mother. They will never let go of the person they think they are in love with. I know his mother is still in love with me and my money. She is still wearing the engagement ring I gave her. I gave her that ring because I felt guilty for not loving her.

Hannah caught me when we were young. However, I have learned my lesson and never slept with other women until Valerie. Of course, Hannah thinks I do not have affairs because I am secretly still in love with her. She is wrong. There is only one woman who has my heart: Valerie Morris.

I was a little bit drunk that day, and I am so ashamed of myself for what I have done to the innocent girl. I have been in love with Valerie since I slept with her. I looked for her everywhere that day, but I did not know where she was staying, and no one knew. She was from the poorer part of town so that she could have been anywhere. However, I didn't want to stay too long in town because of my ex-wife, who became a pain in my ass. Hannah will appear unannounced at my house in lingerie, wearing almost nothing underneath a coat. She still does it today, hoping I will take her back.

Now that I'm back permanently in Los Angeles, she makes a fool of herself. Hannah shows up at my office, bringing me food. She pretends we are still in love, although I want nothing to do with her. I cannot believe what a pain she is. I think she is using our son to get to me.

Oliver is a disappointment in the office and is not a good architect. The buildings he designed are a disaster. I cannot even pitch them to any of my clients. I am trying to show him the right way, but he has a way of thinking that his designs are the best because they are modern and mine are old-fashioned. He told me that Bell Enterprises is taking our clients because they have a fresh new look.

I know it's not true. I keep track of the new designs and understand what my clients want. However, I keep losing contracts to Bell Enterprises' CEO, who is a woman. I believe that is the only reason she is getting all the contracts. She must be beautiful because men obviously cannot withstand her. Most of the contracts she gets are from the older generation men who like women. She must know how to use her body to get what she wants.

Please understand me. I do respect women. I cannot stand a woman who uses their looks and their body to convince men to give them contracts in the business world or who sleeps their way to the top. I am positive that this is what is happening here. I gave the government some of my best work. Still, she's snatching all the contracts away from me. She is building offices and renting them all over town and in good areas. Many big businesses who rented from me left to rent from her. This means war. I will not go down to that woman and Bell Enterprises.

Luckily, I am wealthy. I have made billions over the years and invested my money wisely. However, I do not like to see my baby, Stark Enterprises, go down the drain. However, I know it's inevitable the day that my son takes over because he has no brain for architecture or business.
