Dean's POV I have always felt guilty about Valerie's mother dying. I know it was not my fault. However, I think maybe if I had given Valerie the money instead of sleeping with her, her mother would not have died. I do not understand how Valerie feels about her mother's death and if she blames me or not, but I try not to talk about it because I believe that it is something that can come between us if I bring it out into the open.
