"Yes, Mrs. Parker, but you see we all here are only concerned about one thing! And that would be our kids' safety and the friendly environment you promised for them. You see, punishments are not bad. But they cannot be in such a way that the kid starts feeling lonely in a room full of thirty other kids just like them" I say and she nods.
"I will surely look into it. Thank you for bringing this to my notice, Mrs. Torres" she says and I suck my teeth in disappointment.
"I would also appreciate it if you don't jump into conclusions not just about me but any other single parent out there. I am Miss Hazel Torres. Divorced, widowed and single" I say.
