CHAPTER SIX -- Training

"What?! Why?" I shouted right after he had said those words. He sighed like he's trying to find the right words he needed to say.

"We didn't found the animal that killed poor old man Willy back there on the Uranus street, I'm worried that it might get here and hurt you without me knowing... so I wanted you to join the Hunter Organization together with your mom, not to hunt with us but for your self-defense," he said while relaxing his hands on his chin still thinking deeply, you can tell how stressed he was about it with his big bags of eyes bags.

I sighed in disbelief, I can now understand his point he just wants us to be safe even without his protection... there's no hurt in joining right? After all, it'll just help me with my self-defense tactics.

"Okay I understand.. so when will this training start? I hope it won't affect my studies," I said while tugging my side long bangs that fell against my face on my right ear causing them both to look at each other and smile at me.

"You sure you want to join now darling? You can think about it you know?" My mom asked, she looks like she didn't believe that I have agreed to join them that easily.

"Well, why not? Some weird guns are cool I guess," I sneered causing them to laugh at me as relief washed over their face.

"But you won't be using any guns yet do you hear me, sweetheart? You will not hunt, so you're just gonna train physical and combat attacks okay?" He scolded me, destroying my plans with the cool things that I will do with the weird guns inside my head.

"O-Oh okay, no problem," I said trying to hide my disappointment as I heard him chuckle.

"Thank you sweetheart, and don't worry, your training will start an hour every after your last subject, there's no training if you have classes or some important assessments that you needed to comply," he said causing me to agree with him, I still have time for myself then, so there's really no problem at all.

"Okay cool.. so I'll go upstairs and finish my movie marathon then," I smiled, leaving them in the living room to talk.

I fished out my phone on my lavender bag after entering my room, I haven't been able to check or even open this thing right after we have settled in here.

I opened my phone and saw that three new messages are coming from an unknown number.

Weird... I'm not giving my phone number yet to anybody I know here so who's this? I checked the messages and it said there:

From: 0918-872-XXXX

Hey, what are you doing now? This is Zionel.

What the freaking preach? How did he get my number?! First my house and now my phone number?! Is he a freaking stalker?

From: 0918-872-XXXX

Hey, are you there?

From: 0918-872-XXXX

Please respond to me Ravey. I'm getting worried.

After reading the rest of his messages, I went to my bed to lay down and think. I can still recall everything that has happened earlier that puzzled me up until now. How on earth did he found out anything about this?

Still confused, I found myself dialing his number to call him, there's no point in solving this on my own. I need to hear his statement before some scenarios will start to build up inside my mind thinking that he's some weird stalker that's plotting something wicked, with just one ring he answered the call.

[Ravey? You called, what's wrong?] hearing his deep calm serious voice on the other side made my heart flutter for a bit, but I didn't mind that and confronted him.

"A-Are you stalking me? First my house and now my phone number?!" I screamed, causing him to shut dead on the other side.

But instead of feeling guilty about it, he slightly chuckled on the other line that almost sounded like heaven to me. Great God's what is wrong with me?!

[I'm sorry, I should've asked for your permission first but I just can't wait till I get to talk and see you again,] he said sincerely causing me to blush, it's a good thing that he can't see me now.

"O-Okay?.. s-so where did you get it?" I curiously asked, trying so hard not to stutter.

[I nagged our principal about it.. let's just say I have annoyed him very much and he has no other choice but to give it to me,] he sounded like he's slightly proud of himself, so I just shook my head at my phone.

"What is your relationship with the principal? But still, he should've not given it to you! Our documents should be confidential right?" I asked suspiciously, they shouldn't have given that easily. What if they're being nagged by a psychopath that wants to kill me?!

[Maybe in your city before, but here in this town profiles shouldn't be confidential and he's kind of.. my dad so I have easily got it,] he said casually, so my eyes widened.

"So that's why! You sly stalker!" I scolded, causing him to laugh even more because of everything that I'm saying. I secretly smiled, hearing him laugh is so overwhelming than watching the sunsets or rise. We just freaking met but why am I feeling like we've known each other for a very long time? I shrugged, at least he's not hurt now.

[Can you blame me? I wanted to know you better and I needed to know if you went home safe,] after he said that my body stiffened again, my heart slightly fluttering as I gulped trying to find the right words to say to him. What does he mean about that?

"W-Why? W-Why do you want to know me better?" I asked, silently praying he would answer me directly.

[I-- Alpha we found--!! SHUT UP!!--] after hearing him shout like he was going to break something, the line was cut off and I found myself staring at my phone weirdly, okay... what just happened?

Why is there someone calling him Alpha? Is he some secret agent or something? The voice who called him sounds familiar too, I just shrugged and thought about everything that has happened today. It was really stressful yet fun, but there's only one person that doesn't stay out of my mind.

Zionel and his weird actions. I smiled remembering his perfect face and decided to rest my eyes for today so I can get up early tomorrow.

Zionel Tyler White

"How many times do I have to freaking tell you to knock Carson!" I shouted furiously at my beta, who just smiled sheepishly at me before he closes the door as he takes the seat right in front of me. I checked my phone and relief enveloped over me when the line was cut off. I hope she didn't hear that.

"Welp sorry about that, I was just really wondering why the Alpha's laughing alone inside his office hm?" he said while putting his hands on his mouth trying to stop himself from laughing, so I glared at him.

"What news do you have to report? That you have to interrupt my call to my mate?" I sighed and smiled secretly remembering the face of my lovely mate. I have been looking for my mate since I have turned eighteen, now that I'm 21 years old and I have just found her, I wouldn't let anything or anyone take her away from me.

FLASHBACK//

Going to school isn't my thing, but we have to do it so people inside this town won't take us very suspicious.

I groaned as I entered the main entrance of our University, there are no students around here anymore I'm late again so what's new? After moving my feet into the halls, I immediately smelled something that urges my wolf senses to be excited, so I followed it.

That scent is what I have been looking for in the past years. I began to run around the halls, my hands are slightly shaking with desire and excitement when I found out that the scent was coming from the door of my first subject. Lucky me, I guess.

I immediately opened the door and some eyes looked on my way but I didn't mind them cause my eyes only locked to the eyes of a beautiful lady that was frozen in her seat and the people around her were part of my pack, I secretly smirked she must have felt the bond. I stared at her, even more, trying to memorize every part of her lovely face.

Her skin was fair. Her rosy lips can tell how kissable they were. Her deep ocean blue eyes sparkled like stars in the night sky, her hair was gray ombre in color which was curled to perfection that made her look so elegant. Don't make me f*****g start with her body, I might lose my control, seeing her lips and her scent didn't help to calm my buddy down there. I was mentally cursing to myself while enduring the pleasure and pain that she was giving to me that she doesn't even know she can give.

Seeing how affected she was to me made me so happy, but she's a human. She's so fragile. I want to take my eyes off her but it's really f*****g hard to do. Can you blame me? She's a sight for sore eyes. Carson tried to stop me on my mind, saying that I might creep her out cause she's a human so they took me with them to their lockers.

Observing her for hours only made me realize how perfect and fit she is for becoming a Luna in my pack. My mate is not weak, she's effing strong. Strong-willed and very talented. I already like her a lot.

When we heard about the bad news, I mind linked to my pack to do their jobs so they immediately left the school to investigate and I was just standing on a corner, watching her from afar.

I was planning to confront her and to take her home so we can get to know each other step by step but that Jason Lee f*****g ruined my fantasy. I wanted to kill him so badly by touching her hand but it might scare my mate. So I left, controlling myself, and just nagged my retired Alpha dad with my mom as his secretary in his office to get her credentials.

She's a human and so what? I don't f*****g care. Ravey is so perfect at every angle and she's mine, all mine.

"Dang it, you got it so bad man! You're disgusting!" I glared at Carson who's just smirking at me. He was more worst than I am when he has found his mate, her name was Cassiopeia, they have met months ago at some special event.

"We have found the rogue that's been setting us up with the hunters he's in the cell, I can't believe they actually killed a human just to get right back us," he annoyingly said, so I grunted in frustration.

I have mind-linked the pack to guard that rogue very well because I'm going down there later to teach him a lesson.

"We can't even let our pack let loose to guard everyone in this town, Jason and his so-called hunter army will probably try to kill or hunt us again," he added and I growled upon hearing Jason's name, he touched my mates hands! I wanted to break his arms so badly but I don't want to scare my mate.

We don't like hunters. Hunters have killed many of our kinds because they have probably thought that we're the ones terrorizing their town but we're not, the rogues were the ones doing that. We can't talk to them about it because they never listen. I just sighed and nodded at him.

"Tell them to train every single day to be ready, rogues are probably planning to attack us someday soon and if the hunters hurt even one flesh in our pack, I won't let them get away that easily," I said in a very serious tone that made my beta nodded, I left him inside my office and proceeded to my room to daydream about my beautiful mate.

Before I could even forget, I have mind linked to Carson again.

"Whatever happens, you must protect my mate at all cost most especially when I'm not around her, tell that to the others too,” I firmly said.

"Got it Alpha," he replied.
