Dragon King's Abused

Episode 8

Once again, Eli was standing in front of the beautiful lake under the waterfall, just as she once promised to herself that she will surely come back to help the dragon after she makes sure that the boy was fine.

And now when she was assured enough that Draco had already started to get recovered, it was time to look after the dragon, even when she had no idea how she was going to help the huge beast, when she was so little and young compared to it.

Even so, Eli showed enough courage to approach the beast who was still lying on the exact same place as before, as if it was waiting for her to come.

"Hello! How are you?" Eli called the black dragon from a little bit distance, making sure that it was safe to get close to the beast of fire.

But the dragon did not move and stayed the same just like before.

Seeing him lying still and motionless, Eli got scared, thinking that the dragon was getting even sicker and must be helped as soon as possible.

So, she ran to its side, forgetting about the fact that she was supposed to be scared of the vicious beast. Cause to her eyes, the dragon was now absolutely harmless with no sign of danger.

Eli went around its huge body once again only to see that the dragon was trying to curl up even more, while its breathing was becoming even shallow.

Without thinking much, she stretched her hand and touched the side of the dragon's head with her palm and caressed the beast as if it was just a baby who needed to be comforted by someone, ever so desperately.

Feeling the soft touch and the little tingles, the dragon tried to scooch to her side even more, in order to feel her tenderness for a little bit more.

He was indeed behaving like some puppy who needed nothing but the love and nourishment from someone like her.

Seeing that the dragon was indeed responding to her touch, Eli kept climbing on his scales, so that she could reach a decent spot on him to sit and caress the dragon even more to make it feel a little better.

"Does it feel good? Do you need me to pat you for some more time?" Eli asked with her soft and tender voice, but she never imagined that the dragon will open its eyes all of a sudden to look at the one who was trying to soothe its soul, when it desperately needed someone to take care of him.

But, seeing such enormous glowing red eyes of the black dragon, there was no doubt that Eli was scared more than ever, but somehow she even felt that the dragon would do nothing to her, as she clearly saw some kind of adoration in those two vicious eyes.

Even the dragon might have felt that it surely made the little girl scared with its horrifying presence, so the dragon closed its eyes once again in order to avoid giving Eli any kind of reason to get frightened. But the dragon had no intention to leave such warmth and comfort as it kept lying the same way as before, to keep enjoying the soft touches from Eli for quite some time.

And finding that the dragon was indeed harmless and was letting her touch its huge body however she wanted, Eli could finally be at ease.

"I do not know how to help you, but let me try okay?" The girl said and caressed the soft part of the dragon's head, as the dragon was not at all bothered by her presence right at that moment.

Keeping her palms down on the dragon's skin, Eli closed her eyes and prayed from the depth of her heart and chanted some spells out of her mouth that she had learned recently.

At that moment, some kind of magical most came from nowhere and surrounded the entire body of the huge dragon, letting their body glow together, even under the little bit of sunlight.

The lake water started to dance on its own rhythm while the leaves of the trees murmured in the middle of the forest all of a sudden. The wind brushed passed, spreading some aromatic smell all over the area ever so strangely. From a far distance, a shrill yet soft voice was heard as if the whole nature was singing the prayer all together which was coming from the heart of the young and innocent girl.

And then, within a flash of a second, everything disappeared, leaving not a single trace of whatever just happened a while ago. No one was there to witness how the magic that the little girl Elie had cast, left its effect on the black dragon without much of anyone's awareness.

In an instant, a few strands of her golden hair turned silver right away, that she even did not realise at that moment.

Eli opened her eyes at last, and came down from the dragon's body only to stand at a safe distance from it.

And in the next moment, as if some kind of miracle happened.

The dragon, that was lying helplessly till now, moved. It opened its glowing red eyes once again, but this time anyone could tell that it was fully recovered and gained all its energy back, out of the blue, ever so mysteriously.

The black dragon, stretched its enormous wings and stood up on its legs without any effort. Looking up at the sky, it let out its vicious terrifying growl, as if the dragon was trying to call for someone desperately.

But the dragon did that for once only.

And after that, it once again brought down its head only to look at the tiny little body of the girl, who was still standing in front of its enormous presence.

Eli did not know what she was supposed to do right now. Neither she could dare to move from her spot, fearing that her abrupt movements might make the dragon even more cautious and what if she becomes the one time meal for the dragon.

So, without being able to decide anything, she kept standing, keeping her eyes fixed on the glowing red eyes of the dragon with no intention to turn away her gaze.

And the dragon was doing the same.

As if it could feel the girls anxiety very well.

But in the next moment, the dragon brought down its head even more than before, so that it could be at the level of the tiny little girl and closed its eyes, showing that it has no such intention to hurt her.

The dragon waited for some while, giving Eli enough signs to realise what the dragon was exactly asking her to do.

Seeing this huge beast acting in this way, Eli could become less tense after some while.

"Do you want me to scratch your head?" Eli asked in confusion, as if she still could not believe. The dragon was actually asking her to caress its body. The dragon which was actually five times bigger compared to her size and whose presence was always considered as terrifying, was actually asking her to pat its head just like a little puppy.

So, Eli did not hesitate anymore and touched its head right away, without the least bit of fear this time.

Even when the black dragon opened its enormous glowing red eyes once again, the girl was not frightened any more.

And seeing that the girl was finally letting her guard down against its horrifying presence, the dragon became happy as well, and started to want more.

It rubbed its nose on her body, intending to push her slightly, so that this huge baby could play with her in the water.

"Do you want to play now?" Eli giggled from the bottom of her heart, and jumped into the lake at last. The dragon followed her as well, and jumped in, splashing the huge amount of water out from the lake with its enormous body. At this moment, Eli completely forgot that she had left Draco back at the cave, who might want to see her when he wakes up.

But for now, except playing with her newly found friend, she could not think about anything else.

Eli jumped on the back of the dragon some times, asking it to swim across the lake only to go under the fall to have more fun, and the dragon did exactly what she wanted it to do. As if the dragon could easily feel anything and everything that the girl was thinking at that moment.

Even sometimes she dived deep into the lake to play hide and seek in the water, making the dragon absolutely confused about her little tricks, letting themselves enjoy to the fullest.

In this little span of time, both of them were happy and kept playing in the lake for how long they did not know either...until another voice resonated through the whole surrounding making the girl became cautious even more, that she went to hide behind the huge black dragon, while the dragon became impatient all of a sudden to go out of the lake.

"Egan!!!!" It took much time for Eli to realise that the boy she left at the cave was now standing in front of the lake, and with the name, he was calling no one but the huge black dragon with whim she was playing in the water of the lake till now.

Hearing, Draco's voice, Egan indeed became happy and jumped out of the water only to rush to his side.

Not only that, as the dragon was even trying to push him inside the water, as if it was trying to introduce its new friend to him as well, but little did the dragon know that they had already met.

"Do not come into the water. You have a fever, remember." Eli screamed from the lake, just when Draco was about to forcefully dragged into the water by the dragon. And after that, she came out of the water in no time, so that no one dares to go in the water any more.

"I was looking for you when I woke up." Draco said, while his cheeks got covered with the hue of a deep crimson all of a sudden for some unknown reason.

"Yes, I was intended to go back early, but I found this huge friend who was not at all willing to let me go. So I thought of playing with it for some time." Eli replied with her tender voice.

Her fair skin totally exposed her inner state right now as her cheeks betrayed Eli all of a sudden and turned red. Due to playing in the water, she became completely soaked while waters were dripping from her golden hair and her white clothes as well.

But it seemed that the water could not bother the dragon in any way, as its body dried up as soon as it went out of the lake, due to the immense heat that its body generates.

After all the dragon was a beast of fire.

"I can see that you have already met Egan. He kind of likes you, which is very rare, you know?" Draco declared, while the black dragon was now sitting beside Draco, being absolutely quiet and also its eyes were only on Eli, as if it just could not afford to take its eyes away from her.

"Is it yours?" Eli asked with wonders in her enchanting green eyes.

"Yes." Draco said, without caring to explain everything to her right at that instant, about how both of them were connected by the soul.

"Egan! That is your name, right? Nice to meet you, my friend." Eli lifted her hand up once again and scratched the spot on its body and as a response, the dragon made a low noise, showing how much satisfied it was.

It was indeed the best moment that Draco and Egan had ever experienced.

But the moment was now in the long-gone past.

The Dragon King opened his eyes once again, and found himself still dipped into the silver like lake under the moonlight, while Egan was sleeping nearby, dipping its front part of the body into the stream, without anything to worry about.

Tonight, Draco saw a wonderful dream indeed. In fact, it was not just a dream but the piece of his memory which he cherishes the most.

And even now, when so many years had passed and when he had already come to a far distance, this piece of memory always made him feel alive which indeed showed him his goals in his life which happened to be absolutely useless to him once.
