Noelle’s POV
When we got to school, Dory helped me out of the car, and we walked to the office hand in hand. I squeezed his hand, nervous about what the principal would say about me now wanting to graduate early.
I was supposed to graduate last year, but I wanted to be in the same year as others of my age, but now I have a reason to want to graduate early. I need to start my beta female training now, then wait for the right time. I may be a werefox, but I know how to fight against rouges and other beings, as Alpha James trained me when I was younger, and my fox powers were coming in as I got older.
“Ah, Ms. Myst. Why the sudden need to be here?” “Well, Mr. Johnston. I believe it's time I graduated now. I have important matters that I need to do back home, and I cannot be here, and there I need to be with my family.” I said softly, letting my mate's warmth give me strength. “Finally, I thought you never wanted to leave.” I giggled at Mr. Johnston’s joke as it had been going on for a year between us.
“What?” I looked up at my mate, who spoke with a confused look on his face, and that did me in. I could not hold back the laughter, knowing how confused my mate was right now. “Elle, come on, it's not that funny.” “Hee-Hee, yes, it is Dory,” I said between giggles, hugging his waist and kissing his stomach, as that was the only place I could reach as my mate was close to seven feet tall. Dorian patted my head, chuckling at himself, knowing I was right about the situation was funny.

I was finally free from high school and now began my training to be the beta female of our pack. “Mother? You in here?” Dorian called out as we walked into his family home near the packhouse. I was looking around the place as I held his hand.
What surprised me was when I noticed a painting hanging on the wall that showed two wolves lying down on the field with the male lying on top of the female resting. It was beautiful to see, and it was something I wanted to do with Dory in the future.
“Dorian Austin Greyson! Get your ass in here and bring me your mate!” “Coming, mother!” I was gently pulled along by Dory, him trying to drag me towards the den where his mother was sitting and knitting a blanket. “Oh, Elle? So glad to see you again, my dear. I hope my son has been treating you well.” “It’s good to see you again, Kelsey, Dory has been treating me well, and I can’t ask for more from him,” I said softly, giving her a small smile.
“That is good to hear, my dear, so Dorian. You can leave us now; I will take care of helping my daughter-in-law take over as the beta female.” “Alright, mother. Sweetheart, just let me know when you have finished. I want to take you out on a date.” I gave Dory a nod, and he kissed my head, leaving me with Kelsey, Ma’s best friend.
“Alright, now that goof is away, tell me everything first, sweetie. I want to know how you two found each other.” I giggled and explained what had happened yesterday and this morning and how Brittany tried to get me in trouble. “Well, my dear. You do not need to worry about Brittany as she has been grounded for pulling that stunt of hers.” I shook my head, knowing how pissed off Brittany was now.

I closed my eyes, letting the warm water soak my tired body as I was able to let myself be more me than anything else. Today has been a long, tiring day, and I am so glad to be in our room using the bath as training with Kelsey brought me back to my training with Alpha James and the elders. I will always do my best to be the werefox I was meant to be for our pack and my mate.
My proper human form is me with actual white fox ears in place of my human ears and my big white fox tail that replaces my tailbone. I still have the body of a human female like everyone else, and I have more animal genes than any other folks.
“I think we should show Dory and Knox our true human form, and most of the pack already knows. The only reason we have to hide our ears and tail away is the humans living in our town.” “Yeah, your right, Rory. I mean, I do not think they would think we look disgusting or something while we look human but with actual animal genes in both forms.” I sighed after my conversation with Rory as she went to rest while I was soaking in the bath. I got out after a while, wanting to dry my tail so it would not be a problem later, as well as my ears and long white, blonde hair.
“Sweetheart?” “I’m in the bathroom." I'll be out in a moment.” I hollered back to Dory. I quickly got dressed into my satin nightgown and made my way out of the bathroom, not realizing that my tail had a mind of its own whenever I was excited about something.
"Um, baby? Are you all right?” I tilted my head, confused, and saw my tail swishing back and forth from underneath my nightgown. I looked down, embarrassed and worried that Dory would think I was a freak and weird for being like that. I almost started crying, thinking about all of the time I was bullied over how I looked and why I wanted to hide behind looking more human than I am.
“Oh, my sweet girl. Shh, you look beautiful, even with your animal genes. Your beauty outshines everyone.” I hugged Dory tightly, crying on his chest, letting out all of my pent-up emotions from not liking my true self over the years.
