*Solveig* Soft fingers brush my forehead and I smile. Mom was always tender and gentle with me, nothing in the universe could compare to her touch. I part my lips and barely whisper. ‘Mom…’ I feel her knee next to me. ‘Sol, baby girl… I was so worried…’ She then stands up. I open my eyes and I see her looking at the door, then back at me. Something is wrong, she is nervous. “Mom? What’s wrong?” I say out loud.
