Loss of Virginity

1136 Words
Shena was preparing to leave the room, when her foot was about to step she saw something lying on the nightstand. Shena's eyebrows furrowed, the girl tried to get closer and grabbed the object. Shena's chest rose and fell so fast, she remembered what happened last night. Shena's disappointment with the man peaked, as if he considered her a b***h who could be paid with money just like that. However, she couldn't blame him entirely because she was also like a wild animal with no pride, seducing and asking to be served. Shena gripped Jevian's business card and ATM tightly with tears streaming down her cheeks. "Look, Shen! You've deprived yourself of self-respect!" she monologued. The girl wiped her wet face. "Enjoy your stupidity, Shena!" she continued. Shena decided to step out of the room, she had to leave the place immediately. With a thousand steps Shena walked while looking down, even the girl didn't care if she had to do an early check out. Shena decided to return to Alice's house because her best friend was all she had at the moment. In a different place. Alice, who had just woken up due to the influence of alcohol last night, immediately held her head which felt heavy. "Aww," she said. The girl sat on her mattress while looking around, she had not realized that Shena was not there. Alice held her sore neck and moved her head slightly, so as not to be too tense. Engrossed in stretching her muscles, Alice widened her eyes, she remembered something. "Shena!" she said and immediately stood up. Alice half ran out of the room to the kitchen, but didn't find Shena there. "Shena!" Alice shouted. "Shena!" she called again, but didn't get an answer from her best friend. Alice didn't give up, she stepped out of the house, maybe Shena was on the front porch, she thought. But unfortunately, she still didn't find her best friend's whereabouts. "Where is she? Did I leave her at the Club last night?" she asked with a worried face. Alice shook her head quickly. "No way! He'll come with me home," she said again. The girl went back to her room to retrieve her cell phone, she had to call Shena immediately and desperately hoped that her best friend was out or shopping. Two calls, but absolutely no answer from the girl and made Alice worry even more. "Where are you, Shen? Don't make me worry!" Alice said as she kept trying to call Shena, but it was all in vain. In the taxi, Shena continued to cry and even ignored the sound of her flat object. The girl had no hope of a better life than before, her future was ruined. Stupid, Shena! Stupid! What are you doing? Shena thought to herself. The man behind the wheel could only see Shena from behind the center mirror. Shena staggered into the house, the girl's face slapped with a frown. Alice, who realized the presence of someone in her house, stepped quickly to see who had come. Alice smiled widely. "Shena!" she said then, hugging her best friend's body. "Thank goodness you're here. I thought I left you last night," said Alice who was still hugging Shena tightly. Alice looked confused because Shena did not answer or respond to her words. Alice released her hug, she was surprised to realize that Shena was crying, even Shena was still wearing last night's clothes. "What happened? Don't tell me that I really left you!" Alice asked frightened. Shena was silent. Alice held both of Shena's arms. "Tell me, Shen! Tell me! What happened?" she asked again while slightly shaking Shena's body. "I've gotten dirty, Al! Dirty!" shrieked Shena. The girl's sobbing intensified. Alice was dumbfounded by Shena's words. "Nothing in my life matters anymore!" said Shena. Alice hugged Shena's body again, and gently rubbed her best friend's back. "I'm disgusting, Al! So disgusting! I'm lower than an animal!" she cursed. "Shush," Alice said asking Shena to stop what she was saying. Alice tightened her embrace when Shena's cries broke out even more. "Don't say that, Shen! Stop it! You're precious," Alice said trying to calm Shena down. Shena shook her head strongly. "What else can I be proud of, Al? I'm a despicable girl!" shouted Shena. "No, Shen! No! Stop!" pleaded Alice. Shena kept her mouth tightly shut, but there was still a sobbing cry from the girl. Slowly releasing her embrace, Alice helped Shena wipe her best friend's face from the traces of tears that ran down Shena's cheeks. Without asking Alice also knew the meaning of Shena's words, especially if it was not the most valuable treasure owned by a woman. "Better, now you take a shower. I'll order some soup for you later, so you can freshen up a bit," Alice said. The sad gaze did not answer. Alice helped Shena to the bathroom, she knew how her best friend felt at the moment. In the bathroom. Shena was crying again, wailing under the shower water. The girl didn't even take off her clothes at all, she sat hugging her legs. "Please forgive Shena, Ma for not being able to take care of herself properly. Please don't hate Shena, Ma because Mama is all Shena has," Shena said as she continued to cry and buried her face in her knees. Alice waited for an hour. Shena didn't come out of the bathroom, and the soup she bought was almost cold. Out of concern Alice tried to see how Shena was doing, she was afraid that her best friend would do something untoward. Shena probably forgot to lock the bathroom door, allowing Alice to easily enter. The girl saw Shena sitting under the shower water that kept turning on. "Shena!" she squealed. Alice immediately turned off the shower faucet and took a towel to wrap Shena's body. "What are you doing, Shen? You're going to get sick!" said Alice hugging Shena's body, trying to warm her best friend's body. Shena's cry broke out again and this time it sounded so sad. "I'm ruined, Al! I'm ruined! What else can I expect from this life?" Shena half shouted. Alice released her embrace and held both of Shena's cheeks. The girl shook her head. "No, Shen! You still have hope! Don't give up! There are still many out there who accept your situation," Alice said, giving support to Shena. Shena shook her head. "Believe me! We have the same fate," Alice said again and managed to make Shena stop crying. Shena looked deep into Alice's eyes trying to find a lie there, but she didn't find one. Alice was telling the truth. Alice's eyes glazed over as she remembered the night she was forced to sell herself to a strange man in order to survive.
