Chapter 30: Deadly Games

My brother woke up and was not happy, none of us were, I was ready to end Bradley for him but he wanted to do it himself, he wanted to avenge his mate. I backed off and followed him to Bradley's cell while Allison stayed with her mother, I couldn't believe that he had killed his wife, someone he claimed he loved but I guess it was just an obsession with Allison in the end. Cayden and Allison were true mates who were forced apart and although I don't condone the cheating, it was bound to happen eventually as their bond grew. Bradley had f****d up big time and this was his end, we all knew the truth, he was involved in my niece's kidnapping, then there was also the spell that bound him to Allison and then he killed her when he started losing control of her. Cayden wanted to see him and I could feel his anger, for a moment I thought he went Dark Fae on me but I still balanced him out so we both didn't go overboard.

Cayden can easily go dark with too much power and I was truly dark, no matter how much power I used, Cayden was a ticking time bomb about to go off. Bradley was in his cell just being an ass as usual but then he said the one thing that made Cayden snap, "If I can't have her, no one can." Bjorn took over and started dragging his ass all over the Palace, through the grounds, and then the town square over to the arena where a high school game was being played. I was hovering watching everything go down to the point Bradley begged me to end him and I was not having it. After letting all the kids leave, the others appeared along with Allison and before we knew it, I watched my brother take Bradley's head clean off his shoulders. He was trying to bargain with us at first but that didn't help and he blurted out telling Ty who the Dark Witch was and then I was shocked to know the Supremes came into their teleporting powers.

Days later, Allison was Coronated joining Emerie as Fae Queen, and had planned a family outing for everyone to celebrate. We were all having a good time among friends and I saw Ryker getting a beer for Drax, I remember what Drax told me about his argument a few months back. He was jealous of me and Drax's relationship, he thought we had slept together, and honestly, if I was gay, maybe, we would have but that was not the case. Drax was my best friend and I loved him like a brother, I walked over to Ryker and asked to talk to him in private and he followed me away from everyone standing under a tree. I saw Drax look at us but continue talking to Toffe, Drax linked me, "Don't piss him off," I knew he was worried about choosing between us and I won't allow that. Ryker looked at me and said, "Say it, you had a thing with him," I said, "No, I didn't, I don't like you much but you are his mate and my superior, I never had a fling with him or had s*x with him.

However, I will admit that we kissed before and that was it, I am straighter than an arrow," he smiled, and I could see the relief on his face. I said, "Ryker, what happened between us was years ago, just don't break his heart, he loves you and Lora, he was torn when he came back, so trust him. You and Lora are it for him," Ryker hugged me and shook my hand calling a truce when we heard Ty's daughter scream, "Daddy!!" Ty had a seizure before changing back into his human form and I watched as I had the kids escorted back to the Palace under watchful eyes until we figured out what was happening. It turns out, it was Sheila up to no good and Ty was pissed more than ever, he wanted her dead and planned to visit the underworld to find out more about her.

The Underworld

I decided to take the trip with Ty and Toffe to the underworld, King Samuel was expecting us, and secretly, it was a way to see how Kaitlyn was doing. Toffe told us about a boy he suspected was his son on the drive to Demorand and boy, he sure looked like him after he showed us the boy, Ty and I asked him, "Who the hell did you knot up and didn't tell you?" Obviously, we were joking but Ty was willing to help him learn the truth and I promised to help him in any way after dealing with the Sheila situation. Once we reached the Palace, we were led into a conference room where Samuel and Marlon greeted us. Samuel looked at me and said, "Bashien, my old friend," I stepped back as Bashien took over and they shook hands and hugged each other.

Samuel told us about the story of Anuba and how it may have entered Sheila at some point as a teenager taking her over. Ty was not amused and was hell-bent on killing her, I asked to be taken where the Demon rave happened to see if I could pick up anything of use to us. I was taken to the Demon Rave and it was full of unwanted energy, I could feel and taste it. I asked Samuel if this was a burial ground before and he said, "Many moons ago," we went into the basement. We came to a door that was dark and unlocked, we went inside and down more stairs until we were in a forbidden tomb, my power increased wanting more, and the carvings on the wall was a seal, that was broken.

I sucked up whatever energy was left and I said, "This is where she was locked away, the markings could only be broken by a virgin who had enough rage and anger in her heart to match Queen Anuba, Sheila was her descendent so she must have opened the cell," Marlon said, "That explains why the sudden change in her behavior, she absorbed the entity." Toffe said, "At least now we can find a way to end her and put a stop to this madness," looking at the carvings, it was his vampire Davien as the mark on his forehead glowed. Marlon said, "If we separate her, can you save her?" Ty said with anger, "She is good as dead," Marlon bowed, "Yes, Your Highness," before walking out.

After reaching back to the Palace, I met up with Kaitlyn so we could finally talk, she looked great and happy, she had Samuel's mark on her neck, and it had his initials with a serpent wrapped around them with a crown on it's head and the Royal Crest in the background. She had fulfilled her father's prophecy, after all, she became Queen, not me or Cayden's Queen. Kaitlyn and I finally buried the hatchet between us and I promised to talk to my brother so they could co-parent together, it was in the best interest of the child but also, we would have to go to Aidan with this. Later that night, I was taken out with the guys to a social nightclub named 'Le Demon' and we had a blast.

Stu/Chance

My brother has been laying low working hard on acquiring other properties, I was the CFO of the company and my brother was the CEO. We had the best working for us and were a competitor to Valmore Enterprises, we were invited to one of their lavish parties for the Elites. I was excited because we were going to be in the presence of the Supreme Alpha, that was an accomplishment in itself. My secretary buzzed in and told me my wife was on her way up and I smiled, my brother and I had married and mated Bonnie a few months back. We share one bed now since being mated, she was going with Matt on his business trip but he told her to stay with me and she didn't mind. I have loved her beautiful smile since being mated, we have been so drawn to each other.

I don't know, maybe I was falling in love with her, she was bold, never afraid to call me or my brother out on our bullshit and she even put Vorloff in his place now and then. She was feisty and we all love that about her, Vorloff also protects her with his life, we had left to go to the restaurant for lunch when I ran into Michael with his wife not far from where we were parking. Bonnie loves the Royals and always reads up on them, seeing them out in person, she was fangirling and it's so cute. She loved Queen Emerie's style of dress and sometimes from a distance, she looked like Emerie. We got out of the car and I walked in their direction to realize they were going to my restaurant, I smiled, and my manager Bruno looked at me and said, "We have Royalty."

Bruno was nervous because Michael was right next to me and I smiled again and said, "I know," Michael turned to me and said, "The owner, nice to meet you," shaking my hand. My brother was right, you are treated so differently when you have money and lots of it. I offered one of my VIP rooms and he was impressed, he asked us to join and my wife screamed in excitement, we laughed at her corkiness, Emerie looked at her staring, and said, "Do I know you? You look so familiar," she said, "No but I am a big fan and I am so excited to meet you," before we headed inside the room. I had Bruno send the best our way as the Palace Guards were outside the door and I wanted to shout Bolt so badly, he was a former friend of mine but I couldn't blow my cover.

My wife and Emerie hit it off and Michael got down to business and told me why he came here, he wanted to buy the restaurant and I sat back thinking about it. I let him know it was also my brother's restaurant and we set a date to talk business, my brother would be closer to his goals although I didn't care for it, I just liked how we lived now. After a long successful lunch, my wife turned to me and said, "I have a shopping date with the Queen," jumped, clapping her hands, she was so excited and I smiled pulling her in for a kiss. She smelled great and sat in my lap placing her legs on both sides of me and saying, "Do you have time for a quickie before heading back to the office?" I looked at her sexy ass and said, "You are married to one of the bosses so I always got time for you," we ended up making love on the couch in the room.
