I continued having a fling with Kaitlyn, with such passion, and then sometimes hate-filled but we didn't care. I was hired to train some friends who have had their pack in Europe for a few years and I took the offer to clear my head. I reached the penthouse as the butler answered the door and showed us to the lounge where they were waiting.
Cayden arrived with Allison ten minutes later and we were at the dinner table having a great time and talking to each other, however, I couldn't keep my eyes off Emerie. I still tried to help Drax as he was dealing with his bloodlust but somehow I always calmed the beast within. I still think about Drax's girlfriend Emerie she was my mate, I was sure of it. She was in Cayden's harem until she got with Drax that first night when he returned. I was about to head out when my magical alarm went off and I knew what it was, so I waited until it stopped then I called him, "I got the magical alarm, who did you kill, Drax?" He replied, "Rogues," and I said, "Is the blood lust over or do you need me to come down there and suck your c**k?" Kaitlyn and I finally ended it for good, she aborted my baby without me knowing and stopped all communication with me, she had hurt me again, and this time, I wanted nothing to do with her. She left the Palace for two years, my sister told me because she was dating some guy in Lubartown and honestly, I hope she rots eventually. As time progressed, my contract was up and it was time to return to Faeora and finally get on the plans to bring Roman down. I was packed but leaving tomorrow when I heard a knock on my bedroom door and it was Jai, she was warming my bed after I ended it with Kaitlyn for the past few years and she was standing with a robe and a bottle of expensive wine saying, "I'm here to send you off, Your Highness." I smiled pulling her inside for a kiss, she knew who I was and didn't care, she was a human who knew about the supernatural world because her stepfather was her mother's mate, he was Pixie. I had a witch placed a spell on me so I wouldn't feel if Emerie was with Drax and she wouldn't feel me being with someone else but that will wear off once I go home. We ended up on the bed and she had a beautiful body, I would admit as I kissed her all over as she moaned, I said, "I wish things were different," and she kissed me shutting me up as I slowly thrust into her tight p***y.

I hugged him and he smelled my neck and I said, "What's going on?" I was feeling his need to be hugged and he calmed down, he said, "I keep visiting their pack, being drawn to Lora." I looked at him and said, "Let's go and eat," I could see he needed a friend, we had a well-deserved meal with expensive wine and a blood bag at my restaurant. He had explained his nightly runs to the cabin and memorial, I asked, "Is it only Lora you were drawn to?" He got so mad and said, "I hate Ryker, he will die soon, I just don't know how to proceed without hurting Lora, I was feeling for her although I hated she had mated and started a family with him," I looked at him and asked, "Where does Emerie fit in in all of this?"
He said, "I love Emerie and I will mate her," I smiled but deep down my heart broke, Emerie walked in after our lunch and I smiled as she went over to sit in Drax's lap kissing him. Drax linked me, "Sorry buddy, I told her where to find me," I said, "No worries." Emerie then looked at me and bowed her head saying, "Your Highness, sorry to interrupt," I said, "No worries," and told Drax I was leaving, the pull towards her was strong and I knew she had to feel it since our eyes met years ago but she was in complete denial and clearly, she doesn't want me, she wanted Drax. I left feeling my heart break again and at this point, I had just given up on love, I reached my penthouse instead of going to the Palace and I looked out the window at the city wondering if all this heartache was worth it.
