When Calum reached the shore he didn't think, he didn't even care where his board was, he just kept running until he was clear of the beach. His Mother was already waiting for him in the parking lot and she came running when she saw his panicked sprint across the sand. “Honey, what happened? Are you okay?” She asked in a panic, scanning his body for any injuries. Calum was still too shocked to answer. He wasn’t sure what he would say even if he did.
