He was at a loss in words. He kept staring at the picture as if something was completely wrong in it.
The doctor that it was another whim of his, but after seeing his reactions, the doctor was forced to think otherwise.
But then again, everything was in front of him. He thought that Jay might have ended up getting mental shock due to which he had started to imagine those things which never existed in the first place.
"Listen Jay, it would be better if we just return to the-"
The head doctor wanted to bring Jay back to the hospital because now everything was finally over. Whatever Jay wanted to prove ended up non-proven due to which it was time for them to return.
But it seemed like Jay had still not given up. He ran like a mad dog and started to remove all the pictured and photos in frames that were hanged on the wall.
He tried to search for Lily in all of those pictures but in the end he was unsuccessful.
The Doctors could no longer see him suffer like this due to which they almost immediately shot a sleeping drug in his arm.
The moment it was injected, Jay started to feel dizzy. However he hadn't given up even now.
Even though he fell on his knees, he was still adamant about the existence of Lily.
Ultimately he fell asleep no matter how much he fought. The doctors and other compounders dragged him out of his own home and then took him away in the van.
But while returning, the head doctor noticed something weird on the door knob.
'This...'
'Is it broken?'
The knob shattered just when all of them sat inside the car.
The door was indeed locked but due to Jay's sheer force which felt quite normal to him, the door knob ended up getting shattered completely.
What he did was basically inhuman, but the head doctor didn't bother to think about some random door knob because he hadn't seen that happen with his own eyes anyway.
Soon they reached the hospital after which Jay was taken back to the ward in which he was admitted and now some more nurses and doctors were given charge to look after him because they had declared him to be mentally unstable.
"..."
A day or two passed slowly. During these days Jay hadn't caused any commotion.
In fact, he never once took Lily's name. He acted perfectly normal and the doctors were relieved.
But little did they know that behind a calm face, there was a constant thought process occurring which was determining what had actually happened.
'I guess now I am able to understand what actually happened...',he thought.
'Lily might have managed to escape the attack from the vampires...'
'I have to make the cops wary about this!'
'And for that I have to get out of here first...'
He waited in a similar fashion for one more week after which he was finally discharged.
Right after that happened, he rushed towards the Police station in order to make the report.
He knew that no one would believe if he were to tell something like that, but he thought about at least trying.
'Huff Huff'
He arrived at the police station while panting in an insignificant since he had dashed all the way from the hospital to the station which was at least 5 miles away.
He was just breathing fine despite running all the way. Moreover, the time that he took to reach the police station was quite less.
Though, he never got the chance to think about these things which were probably minute for him right now.
Right now he was just thinking about the vampires constantly. He had already started to hate that word.
"Um, excuse me..."
There were around four cops who were lazing around.
They didn't even care about the person who came. However, when Jay called out to them again and again, they were forced to listen to him.
"What is it boy?", said one of the officer. He was bald and didn't even wear his uniform properly.
He was smoking while being on duty and his shirt buttons were open too. It was as of he just woke up from his sleep.
"Actually I want to file a report...", despite seeing the person, Jay thought that he would at least do his job properly due to which he said that.
"We are closed right now boy, come back tomorrow!", the man said while waving his hand as if he was shooing him away like a dog.
"Huh?", Jay was confused when he heard that.
"Hahaha!"
The other officers started to laugh when he said that. Jay thought that it was some joke so he too went along with the flow, but he hadn't come here to enjoy.
For him it was quite a serious matter because of which he came a bit closer and repeated himself, "I want to file a report sir!"
The officers who were laughing stopped and then looked at Jay.
"Sigh, Guro go ahead and listen to his report quick...", it seemed as if they were finally ready to hear him out.
Guro was the name of the same person who was described earlier. He was still smoking, but he lead Jay inside towards the inner chamber to file down the complaint or report for which Jay had come.
"..."
After 5 minutes...
"Just get out from here!", the same officer pushed Jay out of the station.
Jay stumbled a bit but didn't fall despite the forceful push from a big body of Guro. Even his tummy was more than enough to bounce Jay back by 10 meters!
"What happened Guro?", the officer who earlier asked Guro to take a real quick look at his case asked him.
"Haron, this kid is f*****g messing with me!", said Guro.
"Huh? What do you mean?", Haron was confused. He seemed to be the same age, around his thirties, as that of Guro however he still had pitch black hair on his head.
However he was skinny when compared to Guro.
"This kid is asking me to write a report about vampires! Like f**k, he is really messing with me!", uro seemed quite angry.
"Haha, I guess he is trying to get us for cracking the joke earlier!", Haron said.
"..."
