Aunt Fiona's Foster Care System I talked to my mom today. Told her about Chris and the divorce papers, but she already knew. Maybe he emailed her. He does tend to be more of a writer than a talker. I like talking. Not only does it defy generational stereotypes, but it's also way easier to interpret tone when you can hear the other person's voice, not just read the words they've written. Mom wasn't too wasted, so we talked longer than usual. I asked why her sister never got married. My aunt Fiona definitely wanted kids. She created a family by fostering. I already knew my aunt Fiona had a really positive experience in foster care when she was young. My mom and my aunt got split up when they were taken away from my grandparents, but the household where my mom ended up was bad. Sh
