The past week has been the best week I have had with Gabriel since we heard from Gareth. Now that he knows about my past, we have grown closer in ways I didn't think would be possible if he were to actually know everything about me. Every fear I had was cleared off the table after I came clean and instead of walking away from me like I thought he would, he has become more caring and focused on our relationship. Instead of getting right back to work, Gabriel asked me to show him around the place I once called home. We have gone to all my favorite restaurants and tried all my favorite dishes. We went hiking and had a picnic at the river. I told him what it was like growing up here, told him about my parents and how loving they were. I told him about all my hopes and dreams as a child.
