Gabriel and I were the last two to leave the event, well aside from Gareth and Judith, but they were right behind us and we heard everything that Gareth had to say. Gabriel isn't stupid and he saw that I kept looking at Gareth the entire night. When we got in the car, he just sat there, not giving the driver any instructions to take us back to the hotel. My heart was beating over time and I felt sick with guilt, because Gabriel doesn't deserve my unfaithful heart.
